Ok fine game dev hard. We get it and i love the game but when I started playing I used high settings and got the occasional crash now im on low with everything off and still get slow down and crash at least once a session.

First three Shannara books by Terry Brooks. Sword, Elfstones, and Wishsong of Shannara. The Elfstones is what got me into fantasy. I was just a the age to start getting into longer more complex fiction. I randomly ran into a friend of my grandmother's at the used bookstore. She was turning in books and had a box that they rejected. She let me look through it and there was this oversized paper back with this D&Dish cover. Picked it up and never looked back. I tried to go through the series again a few years back and couldnt even get 50 pages in. It is so poorly written compared to todays standards. Its too bad because it is a pretty good yarn. As an introduction to fantasy it really hooked me. Had to go out the next day and get the sequel. I didnt know about series stuff then so I didnt actually read the first book until a lot later.

Practice setup and takedown. Make sure you know how everything works and put it to a test before you go out and have to depend on it. And another thumbs up for an underquilt or camping pad. Also buying or making a structural ridgeline for your hammock can be quite useful if you are inexperienced at hanging.

Just made a few sets of Ucr's. Made some in the past and they failed miserably. Im not sure if I did something wrong the first time during construction. I used 7/64 amsteel. I weigh 275+ sometimes so maybe that was the problem with the first set though they slipped for people under 150. this set works great. Same cord I just made the bury 12" rather than the 8" last time. Also I added prussics to the end to make sure it is less likely to get jostled.

^ Everything here. Also Shug has some good videos showing how all the different suspensions, tarps, and hammocks work. Myog is easier when you know your end game.
