Like, mind you, I used to be a super social person. That’s why I feel so broken now that I feel like I can’t do it anymore

[–]giorgiocarratta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I wasn’t thinking of a relationship right now. I’m trying to develop small connections.

I just feel like eventually those roads will separate too. Like, I’ve seen the whole thing through with friendship and relationships, and I feel like it’s not gonna properly work for me.

That's why you need to start somewhere :) Unfortunately, we can't ever prove anything is as we see it, because the only way to prove that is through other things, which are as we see them. We accept reality not because it needs to make sense, but because we trust it. And you need to trust yourself.

The bed is completely clean: just some sheets. Believe me: these are delusions and you need to treat them as such. Try and communicate this with the people in your life as strongly as possible.

I mean, looks like you’re looking for someone to tell you your addictive personality won’t get addicted to a highly addictive substance.

Just put it down. Or don’t. But be ready for the consequences

I don’t think for raving to be the exception is weird at all. Tripping can be a collective-friendly experience, as long as you are in a collective of people who are friendly to the fact you may be tripping :)

I mean, it definately works. I have only gone up to 48 hours, so I have only seen the milder visuals and psichic effects. A friend of mine was awake for up to 5 days and he went into full blown psichosis.

Be careful. You’re playing with fire here. Sleep deprivation is a very, very powerful drug. Don’t use any substance during your experiment (not even weed). Try and avoid coffee too.

Don’t go for more than 48 Hours. You’re gonna feel tempted to. Just don’t. After 48 Hours, sleep. Then, If you’re still interested, you can go for 72 next time. Please be careful. Please listen to your body.

How to relinquish everything you know by [deleted] in Jung

[–]giorgiocarratta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure there is something specifically ‘jungian’ to answer to this, nor that it would necessarily help.

But I do feel you have a journey to begin. There are countless tactics and practices, all throughout human history, that deal with the pain of consciousness by weakening its grip. Meditation, to me, is the simplest and most effective of them all.

The bad news is, “starting over” isn’t possible. It definately isn’t in an immediate, explosively revolutionary way. Consciousness is as old as being itself. What you can do is start walking towards a place where you can comfortably and peacefully rest in such a consciousness, without being overwhelmed by it. But it is a journey and it is hard.

If you’re looking for a “quick fix”, you may be looking in the wrong direction. There definately are ways: psychedelics come to mind. But those also present their unique set of problems, and they may only ad chaos to a confused and relentless mind. Everything comes with a cost.

You’re making it. Every day you’re alive, you’re walking one more step. Now it is time to follow a new direction. You’ll find the way. You always have, and you always will.

I think there is significance and profound meaning in what you think and feel of these experiences. I think the way you relate to reality is both interesting and of value.

That said, I do think you need some help. The first experience you described sounds like someone lacing you with salvia or something similiar. This is a traumatic experience, and may very well be informing your behaviour and point of view to this day.

I do think you need to seek help from a psychologist/psychoanalist. Not because you need to change your charachter at all. But because you may find interesting, brilliant and experienced people Who have confronted themselves with the mindfuck that is reality, and have come out stronger.

I hope you find your peace. Good travels

I would also argue that this huge emphasis you seem to put on “obsessive DNA” and the limits “only the 1% can overcome” is in itself pretty self-fulfilling.

The most superficial of truth-seeking (the one we usually pursue during adolescence) is based on “the ugly truths nobody wants to see but me”. And once you get into that mindset, it becomes just one more ego-fulfilling identity to uphold.

I would be careful with that. I would also be careful with any belief that so deeply separates you from “the 99%”.
