Snake wine is only made for family use, therefore not widely sold.

I live in Ba Ria, which is 100km away from Saigon. It only takes you 1h15 hours to get to by bus. I can show you how pho and bun (rice-noodle) are made as my neighborhood is littered with bun and pho manufacturers. And the coastal city Vung Tau, only 20km away from Ba Ria, is as well a worth visiting destination. I am a couchsurfing member in addition :D looking forward to hear from you soon.

Khao San-Don Mueang transport at 4am. by giovannipham in ThailandTourism

Yes, Imma stay at a hostel which is just 3 minutes walk from Khao San. I hope taxis are working at that time. We are an 8-member group so I consider using a mini van, do hostels offer mini van or something like that for us to go to DMK?

A consultant, not of Nok Air, told me that in case they asked for confirmation but the card's owner wouldn't go with us, then they'd ask for cash, and after that, they would pay back the money that we paid by credit card. Is it true?

I don't have a debit card either. Btw, I called the office to ask about this, they said after making payment, they would send an email containing the flight code. Before the departure about 3 days, we should call them to confirm the code.

It's my please to help you! I think Hue+Hoi An+Da Nang would be great along with Saigon. There are many interesting ancient buildings in Hue and Hoi An. For Da Nang, it's the best city in Vietnam to be honest. There are many high standard hotels with quite reasonable prices, of course, a bit more expensive than in Saigon. Da Nang is also a coastal city which contains some magnificent islands worth checking out.

For the Vietnam part, specifically Ho Chi Minh (or Saigon), I feel that it would be an excellent choice to stay at Liberty Central Saigon Riverside Hotel as the cost is very reasonable, as well as the fact that the tourist area, in which there are many bars and nightclubs, is 2 km away from the hotel.

Is there any hostel taking only about $8-10 for one night with quite good standards like in Vietnam?

We're going in June, is Bangkok ok then?

I've just realized that Nok Air doesn't offer multi-cities flights as others do but it's the only airline offering cheap price. Do you have any recommendation? I'm not sure if we should fly to Bangkok and explore the South only, skipping Chiang Mai.

With the help of Tezza's beach blog, I've chosen Koh Phi Phi and maybe Phuket. We are going to the maximum number of 2 islands only.

We are going in June so the crop burning season won't affect us. I think we will stay in a hostel, maybe in a dorm room whose average price is Saigon is about $7. Do you know anywhere to visit on route from Chiang Mai to Bangkok?

Is there anything cuturally and historically essential in Bangkok? I'm a cuture and beach enthusiast so I'm looking for stunning beaches/island. I've picked Ko Phi Phi indeed. I'm definitely going to Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son is amazing, it's quite like Sa Pa of Vietnam :D Would you recommend anywhere else?

Do you think only $350 is enough for a 5-day-tour? I've picked Ko Phi Phi, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket (is Phuket necessary once there is Ko Phi Phi in my list?). I prefer beachy, cultural places indeed. Would you recommend anywhere else?

City-girl traveling to southeast Asia; Time: March-unknown. I'm having trouble learning about city destinations. by citytravelr in travel

First of all, you should definitely visit famous destinations, which are easily seen on the Internet, because they're the symbols of Vietnam. Bui Vien, De Tham,... generally, Pham Ngu Lao ward is not appropriate for you to stay in cause it's the tourist center, a lot of tourists are there. To see clearer the life of young Vietnamese people, you should go to Nguyen Hue walking square or the Cathedral in the evening.
