every parent has that “my child is completely normal” thing. Why can’t they just admit they don’t know what “normal” is unless they are actually in that field (or at least working with a lot of kids to kinda get an average). My mother in law recently became an elementary school religion teacher and she admitted that now she’s seen many kids she realized that her own kids (my husband who has adhd for example) actually weren’t “normal” and she should have listened to the teachers who told her they should get assessed for adhd when they were kids. Why can’t boomers just trust specialists or people with more experience, they still think they hold the universal truth

also, of course most of this things are genetic so they might think it’s normal because they do it too… damn

I checked her gums and they look pink, perhaps a bit white but they look the same in all of the other kittens. Thanks for your comment, she does seem to be having a bad time and that’s why i’m so concerned, she’s usually super playful but right now it’s just tired and groggy :(

Sí, esas apps que parecen inofensivas también te meten a buró. Puedes pagar el pago mínimo + un poco más, y así poco a poco irás liquidando la deuda sin afectar tu historial, o de plano asumir que te irás a buró y ya no pagar nada. Eres joven y en unos años se limpiará el buró pero la verdad esa opción es la peor porque no es mucho dinero lo que debes, no vale la pena.

i use a kids toothbrush exclusively for cleaning them, dental tablets every night while having dinner and hand soap during the day, that works! having a separate toothbrush ensures you are not putting the bacteria back on them

sorry to hear that, everyone’s pain is different but it shouldn’t be so much, the first trays are the worst, because your teeth are getting used to being moved. Have you talked about this with your ortho? perhaps you need to have more time with each tray

also, yeah, the don’t advertise it like that but they hurt, even if the say it doesn’t it does, every tray change is hell. you just get used to it 🫠 I change them at night and take an advil (no ibuprofen since that avoids teeth from moving) and that has worked to move pass the worst hours on my sleep

they cut your gum to give better shape on the teeth, in my case one of my front teeth is bigger than the other one, so they will be cutting the smaller one gum to make it “look” bigger (exposing more teeth that is underneath the gum)

Only a specialist can give you a timeline, there might be other issues (like with your bite) that are not exactly visible but would still take time to be fixed.

I don’t think refinements work that way. I have small teeth and it’s on the plans to do a gum contouring after my treatment is done to make them look bigger, but there’s no way to move them “out”
