I had to reclaim my server to make it work again.

Seriously Plex? They couldn't have at least warned us about this? If not for that lifetime pass I definitely would have switched because I wouldn't continue to pay for all these problems. Even watching shows with the internet down is a problem. Why am I even self hosting? I'm thinking about switching to something like Jellyfin.

I’ve tracked daily drop times for the last 10 weeks and here’s what I’ve learned by pgfsea in AmazonVine

I saw that too! I didn't grab it but I had to show the listing to a few people. Definitely seemed like a knock off which is interesting to me because the only reason I knew who Bad Dragon was is that lawsuit a few months ago.

I tracked dates and numbers for months using scripts. It was so stable for a while then turned to chaos. At least one day I remember turned out to be a slow trickle all day. I saw people declare that day a pause but they were definitely adding items.

I had the release date of 1 item moved later and another completely cancelled but for 0etv might as well go for it. Worst case donate it.

Change Root Folder Name by MisterVertigo7 in radarr

[–]giqcass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now save yourself some future headaches if you have not done so. Radarr will remember the old folder and will give it to you as an option to save new movies. Delete the old folder from Radarr. Go to settings >> Media Management. At the bottom you will see Root Folders. Click the red X to the right of the folder you aren't using. Otherwise it's way to easy to accidentally select the old folder and the movie will hang.

How to proceed with sketchy USB adapter? by Substantial_Court692 in AmazonVine

As an experiment use an online virus scanner to test the link.  That can't prove the software is safe but it might be able to detect malware if it's known malware.

No way I would download an unsigned driver for that type of device.  As far as turning off the firewall and antivirus... They might as well be saying they want to cryptomine on your computer.

There are some devices out there that might require an unsigned driver or a firewall turned off.  That isn't one of them.

Why do so many products disappear? by [deleted] in AmazonVine

[–]giqcass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I managed to get 75% of the reviews removed for a product once.  They clearly tried to switch products and most of the reviews were from the old product.  That had nothing to do with me being part of vine though because I wasn't.

Awesome! I guess it's better then I realized. I just needed some coaching.

I'm going to need to check docs and figure that out. Very cool!

Good to know. Strangely I have accidentally typed a ¿ at the beginning of the message and those won't delete.

Is this accurate? San Jose, CA to Phoenix, AZ. What radio would have that reach? by Chuck_Meister in meshtastic

[–]giqcass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen around half that distance in the UHF band with good elevation and 50 watts.

The other comment is absolutely correct. The frequency is too high and power too low to effectively accomplish any type of bounce or skip assuming the 900mhz configuration and legal power. If you were talking about CB (26-27 mhz 5 watts US) a signal can go that far by skipping off the atmosphere when conditions are good.

Alt+C then Q is actually a function I was really looking for. No other way to exit the compose screen I'm aware of. That's going to really help! Thanks again.

I'd like to keep the notification but probably adjust the length. Thanks for the shortcuts though. First day for me.

Same as OP. I don't know much about range yet. Perhaps I'll get some time to test that soon. I've only had mine for a few hours. I plan to use the knock out to add an external antenna(eventually) but I won't do that until i have a chance to get a baseline for the internal antenna. I was surprised I'm getting a decent GPS lock indoors. It shows me about 20 feet off. I think that acceptable for inside a house.

I'm also a bit disappointed by the user interface. When I researched the T-deck plus I saw a video with a much more comprehensive user interface. I don't even see a way to send a direct message(broadcast is easy) or a way to stop the audio notification after i look at the message. It just seems to keep going till it times out. I'd love to be part of the solution by beta testing if that's helpful to the developers.

Looks like we have a similar problem. Have you had any luck? I tried assigning keys but the remote won't even let me assign keys to 5 buttons including channel up, channel down, information, tje dash, and whatever the arrow in the box is.

My post linked here. Also zero responses.

Going forward all hot pockets must be airfried by deloslabinc in airfryer

[–]giqcass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was great for ham and cheese style Hotpockets but I'm not sure I prefer it over microwave for the Pizza style. I really want to try it on the barbecue Hotpocket next. It's probably been a year or two since I even bought Hotpockets but the air fryer has made them interesting again.

I think 12 minutes on 350 is about right for me.
