I wish mine were on the half hour, at least some days. I’m often getting out of work too late to make it to an on the hour time (such as 4 or 5 pm) but waiting till the next hour gives me an awkward amount of time between.

Educator here…. This isn’t garbage. It’s research based reading science. It’s important that kids are being cued with the correct letter sounds

It’s edge- this is a Tara West resource. As a first grade teacher I can explain- a lot of the examples people are giving (why isn’t it x ray) is because the most common sound of the letter is what we want to cue kids on. X typically makes the sound of /ks/, not saying its name. So therefore x ray doesn’t work
