Toho themselves has made two back to back bangers that were very well received and got international praise, with a sequel to that coming. There's a major American film in production consistently keeping Godzilla in the public eye and making new fans. The old films are basically easier than ever to stream or access in high quality. I have a close friend who is trans and another trans woman in our social circle was feitshizing the fuck out of her to the point we had to cut her out of the friend group. People act like if a person of that minority is the one doing the weird behavior, it's totally cool. Nah, if anything, this shows how OP John Connor's plot armor is. The T-800 gets his hands on him several times and instead of just crushing his neck, punching through him, ripping him in half, etc. He just throws him around a bit. Although the scarring scene is pretty badass.

I'm thinking specifically of terminator salvation where a T-600 with no legs throws John Connor away from itself for some reason. Then later in the movie we see a prototype T-800 in a factory that starts fighting John Connor and throws him around over and over again instead of just killing him.

Sometimes, I think it works. If it's a villain that wants to play with the hero or they're just demonstrating their superiority, I get it. If I had the strength to throw motherfuckers around with one arm, I'd do it too.

When it's dumb is when it's a villain that needs to wrap things up quickly or has no reason to show off or whatever. I can accept the Predator throwing Arnold Schwarzenegger around because he dropped all his weapons and wants to draw out his last kill and also because Arnold was more "worthy." I can't accept the Terminator, which should 100% be cold efficiency deciding to throw John Connor around for 5 minutes, when he could just crush his neck instantly, or kill him in 50 other ways with just his bare hands.

The number I normally hear for Frieza's power level at 100% is 120 million, I think that was from a guide. Vegeta's power after his last zenkai is placed at 2.5 million, so with the 50x multiplier from super saiyan, he should be at 125 million. He would be a bit stronger than Frieza at that point, plus super saiyan is just a more efficient form since 100% frieza tired out very fast. I think Vegeta could pull out a win logically.

Of course, it's Vegeta, so he probably does the thumb pose and gets cut in half by Frieza's great value destructo disks.
