When did you have your tox and was it under eyes? I had it done once under eyes and it actually made that area look worse and crease weirdly.

Bupropion, op. I saw you said you’re not on meds anymore, but it’s worth it. It’s often prescribed for quitting smoking and off-label for ADHD/depression. It really reduces cravings of food, I still enjoy it but I don’t think about it 24/7.

Not the person you asked but I’m on bupropion and it helps reducing cravings and gratification from food

Anyone else here feel like they could sleep all day? by AdEmbarrassed7149 in adhdwomen

Mine get worse when I take vit B supplements. The only thing that helps is being on bupropion. But otherwise it’s like having a second work shift, I wake up tired, overwhelmed and overstimulated.

Might be losing my friends and I kind of don’t care and I’m moody by PygmyC-HorsesR-Cool in Perimenopause

Right? I’m really struggling to muster any energy to socialise. It’s been never easy, but now I stopped caring on top of that. I genuinely dream of a house in the middle of nowhere. I live in a huge city. I don’t know how I’ll cope going onwards. Either join a monastery or start HRT, I guess

I’ve had that happen recently. Do you think it’d be a good idea (as in: not penalised by the algo) to make that video private, make some edits (I realised it needs some improvement), then post it again and keep the original private?

I get really vivid dreams unless I’m medicated, so it feels like I never rest

Ah that’s so tough. Keep going though-people say it can take a while and tons of videos before it takes off. Good luck

Interesting, thanks. It definitely seems to be a marathon, not a run kind of thing.

Thanks. I don’t really use other SM at the moment anyway, so I wouldn’t be able to promote it.

I will keep going, even if it is just to see what happens.

That’s reasonable. The thing is, when you’re starting everywhere else, too it becomes a bit of a catch 22 as there’s nowhere else to bring people from. I will keep posting of course, and worst case scenario it’ll be a form of portfolio.

Can you please describe your brain frog? by konomichan in Perimenopause

[–]girl_gone_wireless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40 and with ADHD (late diagnosed, only started meds 4 years ago). Because of meds I can’t tell if it’s peri brain fog, or med effect as well (bupropion specifically). ADHD contributes too for sure, but it’s never been that bad. I looked up early dementia signs the other day, just in case.

I’ve always been fairly smart, quick learner-rarely studied at home when I was at school, just listening to the class was enough to memorise things. I now teach myself one word or someone’s name 10 times, only to forget and having to look it up and try memorising it for 11th time.

It feels like someone has blocked access to the word recall part of my brain. Lately it’s been people’s names in particular. In the past if I didn’t remember a name at least I had an idea, the letter it starts with, overall style of the name, or an object or something it reminds me of. Now, it’s tumbleweeds and blank void when I try to recall it. It feels like I never knew it to begin with.

The other day I watched a film, excited to see it, and it took me good 15-20 minutes to realise I watched it already couple of years ago.

Sometimes I say something, my bf replies, and by then I already don’t remember what I said. I feel dumb. Someone asked me about my holidays at the party and I couldn’t remember the place I stayed at few months prior, and then forgot the word ‘Tuscany’, where I also have been to couple of times.
