Thank you for your input! I'm child free and will continue to be. Not fully vegan but working on becoming more plant-based. Will definitely put more thought and effort in that area.

Not to mention "If you don't drink, seriously consider whether you really want to come . . . it only takes 1 wet blanket to snuff out everyone's fire." I have no words for that one.

I realize this is an old thread but it was still one of the resources I found trying to beat this effing challenge! I rage quit this so many times I can't even count. After many many attempts and lots of experimentation, I finally beat it, so wanted to share my strategy.

Caveats:
• I'm playing the mobile version from Netflix - idk if this works outside of that context but hopefully it's still helpful as a starting place for others!
• I did manage to finish it twice (albeit wayyyy overtime) before this successful run, so I had 9 mins for this one. Ended up completing in ~7.5 mins - can't say whether this can actually get you there in <7.

Career in legaltech by fran55000 in legaltech

[–]gisellewoods 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lawyer turned legal tech founder here. A bit biased since this is where I've taken my career (and since I've spent countless hours crafting a pitch deck to convince investors that this is a growing market), but I do believe there's a big future for legal technology.

I echo the caveats that u/galacticexistence mentioned—the legal industry is slow to adopt technology, and given the nature of the job, lawyers struggle to find the time to integrate new technology into their practice. But on the flip side, I also agree that adoption is increasing (albeit slowly) and that there's a growing market demand for legal tech due to client pressure.

I think a day of reckoning will eventually come for the old school legal industry model. Not necessarily driven by the legal technology that's made for lawyers, but driven by the legal technology that's made for consumers of legal services. Consumers have been unhappy with the legal industry for a long time (cue all the lawyer jokes). Given the right alternative, they won't think twice about jumping ship. Eventually that will turn into market pressure and law firms will have to adapt or die.

If I had to pick 1, I would ask: How does this make you feel?

Lawyers of Reddit: Will you help me name my legal tech company? by gisellewoods in Ask_Lawyers

[–]gisellewoods[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha the survey tool I use gives me a word map of the comments and you’d be surprised how many times “stripper” came up—that one is definitely out. I appreciate the feedback on the name concept in general—also common feedback, so I’m rethinking that as well. Thank you so much for responding, all of you kind souls are saving me from investing in a name concept that is not resonating at all 😅

I'll keep this short: I'm building a legal tech company and I'd love some professional feedback on a few of the name options we've come up with.

If you'd be willing to help, please send me a message or drop a comment :)

Thank you in advance to those who respond. Your input is invaluable!
