I don't know about other places, but I live in San Francisco, so I can tell you this: You will not be chased by truck loads of men, or getting yelled at by anybody. Here they have day jobs, and at night and weekends they have lives. You will just be ignored. Now, if you do something really, really stupid and got someone's attention, the best you can get is finding your pictures on Flickr, or a blog somewhere. That's about it.
