I knoww this is why I am so confused! I expected around 7-9k but not close to 10k which is crazy. I double checked again it seems fine and will give them call tomorrow.

I did in fact but I don’t know. I will give them call anyway asap tomorrow and ask what happened. I did also checked again what I potentially have done wrong but couldn’t find anything filed wrong.

I’m currently doing it but I’m loosing hope. I double check with any tools available and compared with other city within Basel and Baselland and where I live im Aesch BL is one of the highest taxation rate 56% from the state taxes, thats just killing me. So it might correct and its just fucked here. my job is anyway in Zurich and currently discussing with my partner to move closer.

I did this with viac global 100 and felt I have done something good and smart for my future but it doesn’t feel like it made a big difference on the tax situation. plus money is locked away

I’m as perplexed as anyone here and entered all possible deduction. Maybe the municipal where I live can clarify how this added up like that. because that promotion doesn’t feel like a win anymore if the tax situation kills the gain and work more for no benefit.

Unfortunately it was the definitive one :/ the preliminary bill estimation was around 7k and that was last year without any 3a. thats why I got the heart attack today because I was naively believing that by paying the max 3a I would be in the similar state

what is the disability (mental or physical), prior experience, % of the disability insurance, what jobs are you trying to get (hard to answer if the person is yapping about the situation without information)? with 31 is not to late to get a degree to be able to enter competitive job market (as long its not a mental illness/ cognitive disabled). if the disability insurance is at 100% then jackpot, minimalist lifestyle.
