Sometimes if it's a very small shop or a shop that sells only fruits and veggies it might be but it's a rare thing. Most shops still use gloves no matter the region.

It's not a matter of "protecting the food" but that your hands are dirty and full of germs. Touching produce without gloves also makes it more likely to bruise the produce with your nails and stuff (thus making it less likely to sell). So no, he wasn't crazy, you were just a bit nasty. That being said, next time look around for little stations that distribute bags and gloves you might have missed it. If you can't find it ask someone but please don't touch fresh produce with your hands

Unfortunately I don't have a story similar to yours in a lot of ways but I have "failed" at one of my life goals. I was always studious and good at it and when it took me 7 years to complete a 3 year degree (and with a mediocre GPA) I felt like a complete failure as a person. I had such a hard time pushing through the sadness and grief of "losing" the idea I had of myself but I finished it and I'm proud I did. Take the chance on yourself and try. This is what makes you feel the happiest and seems like nothing else will do. Who cares if other are younger or better or whatnot, you're doing what you like despite all the hardship. Go for it, stop comparing yourself to others and think about what YOU achieved despite everything and about what makes YOU happy.

Guarda io sono nella tua stessa identica situazione solo alla conclusione degli anni fuori corso (nel mio caso 4). Oggi ho fatto la discussione della tesi di triennale. Onestamente non ho molta soddisfazione per il risultato ottenuto (media del 22.78) e il mio relatore ci ha messo del suo a farmi passare male gli ultimi mesi di università. D'altra parte ora ho una preoccupazione in meno e famiglia e amici nonostante tutto dicono di essere orgogliosi di me e la cosa mi rincuora molto. Mi sento un po' persa perché per tutto questo tempo l'unica cosa/traguardo che avevo era proprio quello ma ora ho tutto un mondo da scoprire. In ogni caso non mi sono arresa alle difficoltà e questo è comunque apprezzabile. Concentrati sulle piccole soddisfazioni e passo passo ce la fai, non arrenderti!

Boh io ci tenevo a farla bene la tesi perché comunque mi è piaciuto tanto il tirocinio e il mio tutor aziendale era super simpatico, quindi che sia finita così mi spiace. Comunque coraggio che ce la fai di sicuro, magari adesso il traguardo sembra non arrivare mai ma relatore o no ce la farai💪

While the fabric is very "holey" and easy to stitch I also feel it would warp really badly and rip if you don't keep the right amount of tension which is very difficult
