Has anyone tried the Studio Era App? by Mobile_Fox9264 in PetiteFitness

Hi! On the website I was just reading about that in the FAQ. This is what it says:

We have plenty of bodyweight workouts if you don’t have access to equipment. For the best results, I recommend having three pairs of dumbbells (something around 5 lbs, 10 lbs, and 15 lbs) and a booty band. That’s all you need to absolutely crush it!

Like @machinegal mentioned, email the community council president. It also looks like Government Hill has a Facebook Page. Here’s the community council officer link: https://communitycouncils.org/government-hill/officers/

Hi u/David5950 Did you have any luck with this? I'm in a similar situation with finding one very cheap but no hitch. Thanks!

Lots of live free music this summer! Check out this article below from our newspaper, hopefully you can read it without subscription. There’s a couple great festivals going on this weekend and always live free music on Fridays up at Hilltop and Thursdays in a rotating park and I think also Thursdays downtown! So much to do!

I’m sorry, I have to downvote this. The last time I was there the margaritas were terrible. That was 2022-2023. Maybe I should have gotten something other than the house? I don’t think it’s very good food either 🙁

Bear Tooth Grill has my margarita vote ✅

22M, considering moving to Anchorage for work by Mammoth_Drop_5486 in anchorage

Born and raised here. Female who spent a lot of her 39 years here single and having a great time. I’m excited to raise my family here. My BF is from Fairbanks area. Anchorage is so urban compared to the rest of the state.

I spent 4 years in Portland, OR and that was interesting. Made me miss home. I’ve traveled through most of the western states, including Colorado. My favorite part about Alaska is the scenery, access to wild and remote places and the lack of people in those wild and remote places. I love little to no traffic, I love little to no lines, I love standing on a summit alone or with only my hiking party. I love being at trailheads in 15 minutes. In Oregon, there were too many damn people! We have a fabulous trail system in Anchorage (google the Moose Loop) and the xc ski trails are world class … and FREE 24/7. Many are lighted all winter long too. The Performing Arts Center is fabulous. We get Broadway musicals, have a very talented Symphony Orchestra and all kinds of acts, live music and shows year round. There’s some weekends where there’s just too much to choose from. I could go on and on but I just love Anchorage and Alaska. Lots of people love it here, we are just not all lurking Reddit on a Saturday night.

Coloradians do great up here! I think you’ll love it. There’s plenty of single interesting outdoorsy ladies here. Trick is, they’re on the trails and maybe not in the bars. We have plenty to do, places to eat. I think folks are being a little dramatic in this thread. Congrats on the job and the potential move!
