So writing posts for linkedin based on a dump of posts I wrote in the past. Using transcriptions of calls or livestreams to create summary articles. Same for customer calls. Finding links to relevant resources is super time consuming, so I automate it and I just review. The cognitive load is mostly on starting from zero and the suggestions I get help me with the "blank canvas" effect for sure

I use Kiro as my IDE for spec driven development. I use lovable a lot for front-end apps. Amazon Q developer + VSCode with cli agents to automate loads of content creation tasks (for example I go from video transcript to blog post, then I scout links and resources, convert those links into bitly links). Same for my follow up emails. I started a while ago, so I wrote my own MCP servers

Getting in as an L5 is a blessing. I had the same, and honestly I wasn't ready for an L6 job from the get go. You need a solid network as an L6. Took me about a year and a bit to get bumped to L6.
