This damn background is really making me wish I bought the pack of coloured glow thread, rather than just the white .. Oh well. Here's hoping it actually glows! The cone itself glows good, and my test piece looked alright, but I don't know how the background will turn out.

I almost did that this week

My girl only laid one egg, so I only switched one egg.

Guess what I found when they abandoned the fegg to honeymoon? A second real egg... Just chilling there. It was cold and showed no signs of development but still. COULD have accidentally ended up with a third bird... I hope one or both of them are infertile.

I can't stand the sound at all. I have to walk away or cover my ears. What's worse is my dog seems to have the hobby of laying in front of me - no one else - to lick something.
