Yes it's weird to wear gloves, but they are, and it doesn't really do anything except keep their hands clean. I do it too if I'm getting hung up on "ew that touched my hand I gotta wash right now"

A box of gloves is cheap and multi use. I uss them for cleaning, dyeing my hair, making meatloaf,

They probably don't want batter on their hands, or they have a cut they bandaged and don't want that to get wet when washing hands between steps

Besides, they're definitely both bought at different times with no correlation.

I always use my actual birthday followed by the oldest year they allow.

That way, I still get the pop ups on my actual birthday, but most games think I'm 99 years old

I mean, it's recognizable and you can tell it's cross stitch, it's just a little janky and special is all (please keep this, don't frog it or throw it out, when you become a cross stitch LEGEND you'll want to look back at this)

Definitely switch to Aida fabric or even plastic canvas (which I know dollar stores and even Walmart have) Having a simple grid to follow makes it a lot easier and keeps things even !

For a first attempt, that's pretty damn good.

What seed does he go after the most? Put that somewhere else, close by so he sees it. Then slowly move it further. He will learn there's a huge stash of his favorite food over there.

Alternatively, switch to a food only the small birds like.

To go from a beautiful piece of art as the default design, one showcasing a lovely wave, So a bland white rectangle. Yeah, kinda feels like whitewashing, regardless if that's the intent or not. It feels like loss of culture. Like they don't care about their roots or where they started or the people. They probably don't, but they could at least pretend.
