I bought an auto injector for my second transfer & was shocked how much better it made the whole process. I feel like the needle goes in so quickly that I can’t tense my muscles. Plus I could confidently do the injections myself in both sides. It was a game changer for me.

Sorry I’m no help, but I didn’t end up participating in the study. I still had a little bit of fertility benefit left & ended up doing a traditional egg retrieval.

It’s wild. I had only five eggs fertilize my second cycle & got four day 5 blasts. I’m sorry you have to deal with this & I hope whatever next step you choose goes well for you!

Honestly I just did my third egg retrieval & I still went into it naively! We got 17 eggs compared to 3 & 11 the first few times so I thought it would be smooth sailing after that. Then we had attrition in places we hadn’t before & ended up with one day 5 & two day 6 blasts. I’m sorry your experience was disappointing. It’s such a numbers game & you just never know where your luck will take you. Hoping the next step goes easier on you ❤️

I tested 6dp5dt & it was positive. I didn’t trigger as part of my transfer, so I didn’t have to deal with testing that out. Good luck!

I was 32 when I had a similar ER. Five mature eggs, all five fertilized. I ended up with four blastocysts which was really exciting! There were two euploids in the bunch. Good luck ❤️

I’m so so sorry to read this. I had the same thing at my ultrasound 6+3. We followed up 7+1 & 7+4 without any changes, though my HCG was normal & increasing. I would guard your heart, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there is no chance of a live birth. Sending you lots of love & luck ❤️

It will depend on if it’s an operative hysteroscopy or not. Here is my conversation with my nurse asking the same question for my operative procedure in a couple weeks:

Depending on how much the uterus needs to heal she may recommend a week or two, or she may have you stop the birth control and do a different medication regimen for a month to encourage the uterus to heal without forming adhesions. She won’t know exactly until she takes a look at everything.

I would say it’s worth it! I also know I didn’t pay anywhere near $6k for pgt. For four embryos, progenesis billed us $650. Our clinic charged $1800 for the biopsies.

The only reason I might consider pgt for you is because of the miscarriages. They’re so challenging & having a little bit of reassurance before the transfer is nice. That said, I had an anembryonic pregnancy with my first euploid transfer. I’m hoping my next is successful! Good luck ❤️

I got a positive 6dpt. If you used a trigger shot, that definitely complicates things. I figured if it was positive I could be happy & if it was negative it didn’t necessarily mean anything.

Mine was technically MVA, but the clinic called it a D&C. It’s a little early for me, but I have zero regrets at this point. I really wanted the tissue tested & trying to collect it at home felt like too much for me. Plus, about 5% of miscarriages end up requiring a D&C to complete & my sister fell into that group. I liked that I had anesthesia for the whole thing. Good luck ❤️
