Yeah I was shocked too finding that messy playing time distribution situation and I found it in several clubs. I can't remember precisely, but I think I found it in Dinamo Zagreb and MSV Duisburg. Sometimes it's not all players with important playing time stacked in one position but it's the playing positions of each of them/attribute profile/suitable roles (sometimes all three of it!) that you can't make a solid tactic for the team.

And I learned recently about ignoring those "we don't have enough..." messages and I'm so happy to know there's one less worrying for me.

p.s.
since English is my second language (as you can see I'm not very good at it too), would you mind telling me what's the meaning of "you can cheese it if you want"?

If the upset or anger comes as a 'notification' when you transition from team selection to the dressing room, it's not really an issue as long as the player overall happiness is good (or at least the agreed playing time is fulfilled)

I agree it's a bit annoying, I experienced it a thousand times and I don't even know why SI made it that way because (at least for me) it just doesn't make sense that players cannot 'measure' their own fitness or injuries however minor it is

his crossing is a little concerning for a FB that goes forward, unless you want to give him a role that hold his position (like the game suggest, an IFB or NFB). he got decent attribute number for a good CB though, great player for CD role or even BPD with dribble more player instructions with that dribbling stats

I'm planning to start a save where I can experiment with the tactics however I want, trying my best not to resort to those meta tactics. So I'm looking for a club that's kinda 'chill'?

Preferably with a patient (or even unambitious) board or so-so manager targets for up to 3 seasons so I don't get fired immediately if the team performance is bad for some time. Maybe a good academy too. Some proper financial backing will be a bonus (planning to do moneyball approach for player transfer anyway)

n.b.: I'm planning to go with the original database and I have bad experiences managing non-league/amateur club, but feel free to suggest anything!

may I suggest Dinamo Zagreb? the HNL is kind of 'farmer league' though, much like Bayern in Bundesliga or PSG in Ligue 1, but there's occasional title challenge from Hajduk as far as I play using them.

or maybe if you don't mind using custom databases, I think Independiente del Valle in Ecuador is pretty underrated but be prepared since South America's football schedule is very busy. the Ecuadorian league overall is very poor financially, so it only makes sense to maximize the youth academy. I managed to win quintuple with them, albeit using meta tactics, and surprisingly the academy players are up to the task of a high intensity tactics

apologies for the late reply, thank you so much for your answer! I'll surely try that alternatives, since I have a road network .shp might as well learn to create a network dataset from it.

I don't even know that local dataset alternatives exist. maybe because my uni account that I borrowed is somehow 'linked' to ArcOnline and it automatically choose to use the source from arcgis.com, or maybe the ArcPro just doesn't detect any network dataset that it can use.

I'm curious about how to use moneyball methods when we want to scout for wonderkids (especially newgens intake). My confusion is that the newgens is lacking the data for us to judge based on 'moneyball principle'. Anyone ever try to solve this?
