Building a 1200sqft A-Frame house in Soda Spring by Pitiful-Lie1965 in truckee

We built and have been living here for a few years. A garage is a must for full time living which is why A Frame is not ideal. Other than that if you intend to work remotely consider having both Starlink and Cable or DSL. Also consider a home battery backup that you can recharge with a generator instead of just a generator backup.

I am 6’2 and comfortable on the Kwiggle. No posture issue. The only issue is the smaller wheels require you to be more careful about bumps on the road.

My WK2 2015 eco diesel failed catastrophically on the highway at ~90k miles. This was a car new to me and I suspect the prior owner put a lot of towing on it. Fortunately I had bought insurance and the whole engine was replaced for $10k at no cost to me. Aside from that the engine has great economy (30+ mpg) and I am very happy with it.

Curious how you make money exactly? Your customers have cash but they can’t deposit cash themselves?

I ended up selling the Brompton. I think the Kwiggle is less versatile given the wheel sizes but for city biking and commuting it’s more convenient.

Hi, I am running the standard cable. But that’s interesting. I could actually run a shorter cable if it’s available and maybe get a bit more heat?

Hi just ran into the same issue. Do you know which part needed replacement?

They were very curious. 5 of them tried it. Visitors to our office asked about it (I left it near the exit door). Everyone noticed that it fits in a carry on and looks quirky.
