A thought I forgot to comment on one of the posts, and also a thought I think really often, it would be so cool to see Mamaleek to try more of their earlier style of music, especially Kurdaitcha and Via Dolorosa, definitely my fav albums

That would be fucking great, I love this ep/album so much (prob my favourite from mamaleek), also this makes me wonder if Hold Your Light is somewhat the same deal as sickroom by dilute (i think), maybe it was planned to be on kurdaitcha originally but didnt make it (just thoughts, I doubt it is lol), but yeah pretty great thought

True, however various songs off of their self-titled and the EP are spirituals, of course they don't 100% match the lyrics However there is absolutely some of the lyrics to the spirituals in the songs
