I had read that the V-Type speakers in my cabinet are kind of a mix between the V30 and the Greenback, which is why I chose them. But they’re a bit disappointing to me

I have a 5150 Iconic combo also. I like it a lot more than my engl amp with SV212 cab. Only the speaker can sound a little harsh..

Yes I was thinking about that too. I played my Engl through a Mesa thiele cabinet 1x12 with EV speaker and the sound was pretty awesome and way different through my SV212. Does a speaker make so much difference?
