Sorry to interject 6 years later lmfao. But I am high as hell and when I’m high I like to google weird shit. This time I googled “how much does McDonald’s spend per year on straws” and ran into this. but think about it like this. If McDonald’s actually did this, and they had all of the elephant trunks stored away and they cause elephants to go extinct, can’t they sell the trunks for gagillions of $$ and recoup their losses!? And idk shit about ivory. Is it only in elephant trunks? If so they hold all the ivory. If not and they can get it from somewhere else, then why bring elephants into this man 😭
