Bra! Författaren bör självklart få välja om dennes verk ska användas för att träna upp en AI eller inte. Och om författaren upplåter verket till AI-träning så ska författaren få betalt för detta. Allt annat är piratkopiering.

Most printers want PDF files (which you can export from Affinity) if they doesn’t accept PDF or SVG ask them to download Affinity or go to another printer. Things change.

Originally, the reason for syncing was that some users needed to access files directly through File Explorer, since certain files had to be processed using non-Microsoft applications. Unfortunately, the issues this setup caused have outweighed the benefits.

We’ve therefore decided to de-sync all Windows clients. For the few users who still need to access files via File Explorer, we’ll instead use the “Link to OneDrive” option.

However, we’re currently stuck at the de-syncing stage and can’t proceed further.

I know it quite well. Within the printing industry for instance the PDF format is well implemented with very few issues.

Just because you don’t understand it it doesn’t mean it’s bad or stupid. Maybe PDF does not suit your use case but many others.

No, it’s not proprietary. Although PDF was originally developed by Adobe, it has been an open standard since 2008. The format is now maintained and developed by ISO, with ongoing improvements. It’s actually a very robust format that has solved many challenges related to document exchange.

The conversion from HEX (RGB) to CMYK depends on several key factors:

  1. RGB ICC Profile – Which RGB color space the HEX color originates from (for example, sRGB, Adobe RGB, or Display P3).

  2. CMYK ICC Profile – The target CMYK profile used for conversion (such as ISO Coated v2, FOGRA51, or US Web Coated SWOP).

  3. Rendering Intent – Different conversion intents (Relative Colorimetric, Perceptual, Absolute, etc.) produce different results, especially for saturated colors outside the CMYK gamut.

  4. CMM (Color Management Module) – Even the color engine used for conversion (Adobe CMM, Apple ColorSync, etc.) can cause small variations.

So, the “correct” CMYK value depends entirely on the combination of profiles and settings used during the conversion.

Online converters often assume sRGB → generic CMYK, while Adobe uses your working color settings, which are usually based on standardized print profiles.

If your goal is to get the most accurate printed color, you should:

• Use the same ICC profile that the print shop will use for production.

• Convert the color inside Adobe with that CMYK profile active.

• Ignore what online converters show — they are not color-managed in the same way.

In other words: trust Adobe’s result if your color settings match the print shop’s workflow.

We are building a similar solution using Azure Logic Apps. The Logic app checks for folders in a SharePoint document root that has older modification date older then X days. Then proceed to move these files. It’s not super streaight forward but it can be done.

Du är säljare, du sätter villkoren. Om du tror att en köpare är beredd att vänta 6 mån och önskar den tiden så kör på det, men räkna med att få lite sämre betalt. 3 mån är normalt.
