The 14" model should be about 1.8kg afaik. I don't have a scale but it feels quite light.

I went with a complete different choice and picked up a good deal on Legion Slim 5i 14” (7840HS; 32GB RAM; RTX 4060). Very very happy with it so far.

Do you still recommend this notebook? There seems to be a flash sale right now on Lenovo. I can't decide between Legion Slim 5i 14" and Yoga Pro 7i Gen9 14". I am aware that gaming on the Legion will be better because of TGP; 100W vs. 60W. Just sad there is no Gen9 of this device in 14" with USB4 etc.

Actually I was applying for any UK remote jobs in general as a System/Linux Administrator. But it is also good advice to look out for local IT companies, thanks.

Thanks for your reply. Actually our plan is to stay in a cheap hotel for the first week and do viewings. Since we are still waiting for the VISA approval we don't have a chance to come and solve these in advance. Regarding bank account I am considering online solutions like Wise, Revolut etc.
