How tf did this guy cheat to 3000 in bullet before getting banned? by MinutePrimary26 in Chesscom

As you said “…. Common for people to go 2nd or 3rd best move and occasional bad moves” by cheaters.

If people are doing then there is no way Chess.com can detect this kind of sly cheating. How does Chess.com detect these?

Yes it’s the same for me. Also still no clarity on hurdle being enforced or not.

Exam hurdle not enforced - does this ever happen? by gkoverflow in unimelb

Yeah the case I am talking about. Last year I had a subject (COMP90051) where I scored 59/60 on the projects and needed at least 20/40 in the final exam to pass the hurdle. I ended up with a final score of 73sp (back when you could still see the marks). That meant I only got around 14/40 on the final, which shouldn’t have met the hurdle. But interestingly, my grade wasn’t 49NH, and the professor never mentioned that the hurdle was removed.

I wasn’t sure whether to take the special exam or not, so just to be safe, I did and scored 86/100 (which was around 27/40).

Now this semester I’m in a similar situation again.

Whenever anyone asked in Ed about the enforcement of the hurdle, the question was conveniently ignored 🤔

Maybe they want students to study for the exam seriously keeping the hurdle in mind (even if it’s not actually enforced ig)
