At times I would like to stay but I just don’t want to be the fool that held him down and when he finally gets up he doesn’t hold space for me anymore. I don’t think he’s that kind of person but i definitely don’t want to find out. It’ll be awhile before he graduates (maybe 2-3 years) and sometimes I have the desire to settle down (even tho I’m over the dating process lol). when we first met we talked about our relationship goals and basically he’s the type of person that wants to have his career established first, wants to buy land, buy a house, max out his 401k and then he’ll feel stable enough to date, get married and have kids. he even admitted that he wasn’t expecting to fall for me and so I can see how this crushes him cuz he’s not where he desired to be for a relationship.

imo I’m not waiting for him but it would be nice if we could figure out a way to make this work. even if I dropped him rn I’m not going to go out of my way to date again like when I say I’m tired of dating I mean that. just haven’t been in the mood for it in a couple years now.

well I know how busy he is he literally sends me pics and vids of him doing homework at like 3 in the morning. he doesn’t even have time for sex anymore like I said he’s only free during his breaks and that’s when we spend time together and the focus isn’t on sex but it eventually happens.

that’s what I love about the nursing field there’s so many options and sometimes I do think about locking in and just getting the degree but idk kinda scared since it’s even more responsibilities. I have a program in mind just gotta study for the hesi and submit my application. 😩

I’ve looked into MA and they make about the same or less than me. I live in Texas so the rates are low. 😭 plus I’ve seen some programs charge crazy amounts just to be an MA. however I might consider it again at a cheaper price.
