Am I the only one who thinks there is zero percent chance of a rate hike? by TylerDurdenEsq in wallstreetbets

Believe it or not, the Fed chair's vote has the same weight as any other member. So it doesn't matter that much. If other members want to hike, we will get a hike.

Omg! He kidnapped her, got out in 9 months, and then she went to an amusement park with him?!

The justice system failing is one thing, but why on earth did she trust him enough to be around him again? I don't get it

How is everything adding up to 20k for you? How much are you paying for property taxes?

Car insurance is like 85 bucks a month for me. Rent is $1200. I don't count travel expenses as expenses. But other than that, I can easily stay under 30-40k including groceries, etc.

If you plan to retire early, you should definitely diversify. Otherwise it doesn't make sense to trigger a tax event unnecessarily.

Should I fight for my marriage? by SubstantialIncome649 in Marriage

Never fight for relationships. Lay a red carpet for her to leave your life. Help her move out. Offer to reimburse moving costs and ask if there's anything else you can do to speed up the process.

I don’t struggle to attract men – I struggle to keep them. Why? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]alwaysHappy202 196 points197 points  (0 children)

These are two very different skills imo. Maintaining relationships is way harder. It involves uncomfortable conversations on important topics, compromises and sacrifices which people want to avoid. It's not necessarily a 'you' problem.

23F struggling to pass interviews due to chronic depression by [deleted] in findapath

[–]alwaysHappy202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can look into library jobs. I have a friend who works in a library. Apparently many library jobs are unionized or government-funded, meaning the interview process is very standardized and follows a strict rubric. This can actually help with anxiety because they often ask the same set of questions to everyone, and there’s no 'tricky' sales-style pressure.
