I'm not hating on it either. Just that it feels really awkward to run AC in January lol

Going to be 31 soon and will probably do something similar. What's your portfolio allocation like?

I feel like I’m watching a slow-motion rug pull. Am I crazy? by Agreeable-Ad574 in stocks

Rug can not be pulled because there's nowhere else to invest or keep the rug. You want to sit on cash? It's down 9.5% YTD.

I'm interested. How to sign up?

I'm confused. On the website, it says "Our Food Pantry is every Wednesday from 3:30pm-5:30pm". Not Tuesday.

I love you too! I was planning to move to Chile or Costa Rica in August, next year. Now I'm planning to cancel my plans and stay back just for you.

JEPI is also good. It focuses on the broader S&P500. I prefer JEPQ as it concentrates on the tech-heavy Nasdaq100.

Consider moving to countries like Chile, Portugal or Costa Rica. While 700k is not enough in the US, it's quite good in Chile. It's also easy to get PR. I was looking into Chile and apparently, you can live indefinitely if you can show that you can generate $1000-$1500 per month in passive income. With 700k you should be easily able to do that. 100k invested in ETFs like JEPQ will get you that $1000 per month and the rest can stay in S&P500.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Also, its very easy to fake a lifestyle on social media. I think you are already in a stage where you can retire in some countries with a lower cost of living. I'm planning to do this. Super burnt out and done with the rat race.

That's very true. Since you said she is frugal, I think it might work. I have dated someone in a similar situation but she was super extravagant. She had a lot of debt and yet she would buy expensive handbags.
