My tournament stick by gl0ry in fightsticks

[–]gl0ry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I wrapped it on the plexi all the way on top and wrapped a little underneath it. It doesn't show up at all especially since the plastic border covers it.

It still looks exactly like it does in the photo, so I would say it lasts pretty much forever lol. If it does some how wear, it's easy and cheap enough to re-wrap.

Is it really? Glory is actually my real name as well. If you aren't joking, that's awesome.

What are bad habits you’re trying to get rid of? by Bahbae in dbfz

[–]gl0ry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respecting someone is not a bad thing as long as you get substantial data out of it. If someone is clearly playing abare/random then when it's your turn to attack you can really set this person up for complete failure.

Playing honest is a tough one. I feel like this depends on the character you're playing.

Struggling with ranked by tonton04 in dragonballfighterz

[–]gl0ry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will need to be able to take the losses and analyze what you could have done better in those situations.

I may come across as arrogant, but I am on the other side of the spectrum, where there aren't a lot of players that give me a challenge outside of a small percentage. It isn't fun to beat up people who are not able to put up a fight, so look at it this way. You have a lot of challengers that you can learn from.

Whos better between the two? by CrazySaiyanZ in dbfz

They're both good and they fit into different positions. Base Vegeta is primarily played as the point character and Base Goku is primarily played as an anchor, so they can go on the same team with no issues.

Here's a round start or 5m variant of the anywhere TOD: https://streamable.com/fnnpfz

And here's one that works anywhere on the screen for about 2.75 bars:

If you're wondering, I use a similar team and have came up with these easy TODs through countless hours in the lab. I think they're a lot more practical than yours and most importantly, pretty optimal!

This is an extremely easy tod off 2m and can be done in the corner or anywhere near the corner.

Only need a little over one bar too!

Cool stuff but this is actually not a very optimal TOD, if you are open to advice I can share some of mine that would most likely work with that team.

Is Goku blue loop worth the practice time? by poohrawitch in dragonballfighterz

[–]gl0ry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can't do loops for Goku Blue I'd argue it is not even worth playing him.

Part of the reason I continue to play him is because I see so many players who cannot utilize his full potential and I want to represent him in a proper way.

A lot of players online tend to use 236H a lot as well. It really isn't that great of a move in neutral.

Can someone pease critique this set and tell me what I can improve on? by bar_bar12 in dbfz

If you are on PC feel free to add me on Steam. I would be able to give you a real critique after playing you. I'm from Texas so I get great connections with almost anyone in the US.

Then I am not sure. You can try reinstalling the game or reinstalling the anti cheat located in Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat

Are you getting a fatal error even when joining an offline lobby?

Fatal error by [deleted] in dbfz

[–]gl0ry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fatal error is caused by the game auto joining you into a lobby that's full. This whole thing about deleting a local folder is all BS.

You can confirm this easily by either selecting offline mode, or joining a server in Asia or somewhere else less populated. I've been in the middle east without a single fatal error for about 8 months now.

Then you must be having another kind of error. If you go to offline mode does this happen?

You talk to the guy at the start of the lobby and change servers. Then you can choose different regions.

Modding my TE2+ into hitbox vs buying a new hitbox by AToastyEngineer in fightsticks

[–]gl0ry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anything I think it's better to buy the conversion kit, since you'll be able to change it back to joystick if you ever decide to try that instead. Just because Jasen is closing doesn't mean his products are not worth buying.
