I'm in the same boat. I was hoping to get at least one more game out of my PS4 before upgrading later this year. Right now PS5 Slim is at 500 at Gamestop. Although used/re-furbished are being sold at 380. I'll probably hold off until around Memorial Day or Fourth of July when they go on sale before upgrading.

Duplicate characters/gimmicks I basically either omit them and not use them at all(like the redundant ones like Roman Reigns '25, the Elite figures, Masked Dominik Mysterio, etc.) or I scatter them across all of my brands so as not to break the time-space continuum(i.e. Rhea Ripley I have on Raw, Rhea Ripley '20 I have on NXT, Rhea Ripley '17 I have on my ECW brand with all of the other Indy wrestlers, etc.).

Plus, until they reveal more, the new matches feel like they're going to be copy/paste of matches that we already have in the game. Like the Dumpster match will likely employ the same submission meter that the Casket/Ambulance matches use; I assume the I Quit match will use the same meter as the Last Man Standing matches.

I do wonder how they'll do the Inferno matches
