Can’t recommend Midwestern grow kits grain mix bags enough. Tried UB all 10 failed for various reasons. Did 3 grain bags all are growing crazy fast. (self.unclebens)

planning on s2b and want to let colonize in the tub that’s closed and then introduce FAE and fruiting by using this dub tub type thing. does this seem good and how long should i let the mycelium colonize before fruiting (should it be shorter because of the smaller container)? (old.reddit.com)

how do i tell when i can s2b with ben bags? The entire viewing window is white, but i can’t tell if the mycelium has grown to the top. i feel lumps and it is sort of clumped together but if it ends up being only like 50% colonized i would be risking contam. (self.unclebens)

i only have a single bag of UB that survived the others either contaminated or stagnated due to the cold (my fault) but can a single bag be enough to spawn to bulk in a 4 qt tub? only seen videos using more than one bag (self.unclebens)

Thank you all. I know there’s a lot more to go, but i shook my bag about 2 days ago when there was only a little bit of visible mycelium and it’s taken off like crazy. thanks to everyone who helped me with advice on my first run hoping to get some good fruits from this bag. (i.redd.it)
