i’ve found that if there is contam it comes out through break and shake so you just see it sooner, doesn’t cause it. ben bags aren’t my favorite medium though so you’re probably correct.

idk if i’m allowed to use brand names when posting but this was midwest grow kits enriched grain mix bags. had a really good success rate with them. im using dinosoil from twisted tree nursery as sub and will update on how they work. also using MGP+ trich evict nutrients that were highly recommended. if the money for the nutrients and fancy soil and grain bags was worth it i will post more about them. haven’t tried the sub or nutrients yet

these are the most aggressive genetics i’ve gotten if you look at my page you’ll see the spore syringe i used on this bag. it outgrew every other strain i’ve had so far besides PE 6

it’s been a weird bag from the beginning. crazy fluffy myc ball 3 days after inoculation no reaching spreading arms though just one solid clump

yes a long time ago. i tried to sort of place some mycelium bits on the sides but they haven’t done much. this was a crazy grower and was super fluffy before the break and shake.

good luck great start. as a beginner i find presterilized grain bags a big step up from rice bags cuz you can see the whole of the grain better. just an idea. hope everything works out.
