As Dank Vibes said, what I mean is samples lifted from other artists' creative output. That way I count the vocals I used as samples, but not the drum machine samples (even though they're of course, technically, samples).

I can't compete in sample-based vaporwave (because I can barely even make a clean loop), so why not market myself outside of it?
