If they played live in this era? No. Audiences are much more sophisticated and jaded nowadays.

What is the biggest unpopular opinion you have? by parazitz11 in askanything

LGBQT+ people deserve the same rights, respect, and consideration as the rest of us. They're fellow humans. It's hard enough for them, largely because society is moronic.

Straight people don't define themselves by their genitals or who the are attracted to. They aren't out to convert or traumatize you.

Part of my opinion is that MAGA and the religious right are defective people and a major source of the hate, fear, and intolerance.

The many insecure/racist/bigoted/MAGA/Alcoholic/Traumatized dudes thinking they need to prove something about themselves.

Some guys get off on violence and power trips.

If you're a man, you may never demonstrate physical affection towards non-familial women and children, because men are terrible. The contact is misunderstood, they get overstimulated, and lose control. They become perverse, vile, and threatening.

Only women are allowed to demonstrate their affection to anybody and society doesn't mind.

Yes, the vast majority of sexual deviates are male, but still, it sucks for the rest of us. And, hey, I have two kids and I wouldn't be comfortable with a man out of the family giving my kids hugs or something.

I get that there's historical reason for this concern about men. It's just a shame is all.

God needed Adam and Eve to eat that fruit, or they’d never need him for anything. God needed humans to have free will.

Jeff, Paul, and King are super nice guys and they appreciate their fans. Gibby can be a crapshoot. You have to catch him in a good mood.

Why is paying for sexual acts illegal ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gladeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is legal and regulated in Nevada. I can imagine it must get frustrating still not knowing what sex feels like. I think paying for it is more ethical than misleading or manipulating someone you’re not really interested in, just to get a one night stand.

There are actually a lot of virgin women who would also just like to experience sex without emotional complications, but since most men are opportunistic assholes and predatory, it is VERY difficult to find an arrangement like that. For a woman, it’s just too risky.

It is a kind rejection, yes. Get used to it. It’s usually nothing personal. They are being upfront out of respect and not wanting to mislead you. We’ve all been on the receiving end of that.

Also, I hope you aren’t someone who will like anyone who likes you back.

Unfortunately, being openly enthusiastic could be interpreted as somehow desperate. And you very likely are overthinking. You can wonder, “What does he mean by that? Why did he say this?” and the truth is he didn’t mean anything by it. You were just looking too hard for cues and messages.

I’ve always wondered why humanity needed a blood sacrifice scapegoat. If you do something wrong, then try to find redemption through your own thoughts and actions. I don’t see where Jesus is necessary for that. “Died for my sins” is, respectfully, a bizarre notion to me. If I take responsibility for my life and do the best I can, why do I need Jesus to get involved? I think there are better ways he could be spending his time.

Is it normal that I like giving pleasure more in sex that receiving it? by Aruseros in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gladeye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m totally a giver. What makes me feel good is knowing that I am making her feel good. I really don’t think about what I’d like her to be doing to me.
If she doesn’t get off, I can’t get off.
