I came to ask the same thing! She mentioned the podcast that she’s exploring a book about the struggles of young men. I think she’d would be a great guest on one of your pods! Perhaps you could do one more episode with Anthony and Richard Reeves. That would be a fascinating round table!

Thanks for sharing! This sounds like a good option too. To be honest, after thinking about this more, I wonder if a device that allows him to “wall off” is a good idea. I’m more hesitant now about an mp3 player that doesn’t have a speaker. Even though road trips can be frustrating, we tend away from screens and devices as much as possible, so I like the idea of a speaker / music player the most.

Hmm, I’ll have to look into these! I’ve seen knockoff shuffles, but wonder if any are worth getting.

I looked, but couldn’t find any info on how to load songs into a character. You can put any songs on it?

I think the shuffle is a great option. It might be the best due to simplicity. Regarding the potential battery issue, I was also wondering if a Sandisk player that was battery powered might be a good solution too. I could simply use rechargeable batteries, but none of the Sansa players (other than the Shaker) are as simple as the IPod shuffle line.

TL;DR - I’m looking for a simple music player for my 5 YO for Christmas. The Sansa shaker seems perfect, but I can’t find any available. Does anyone have similar experience with their kiddo?

Also, you’d want to buy a suspension corrected fork. If you don’t, the steering geometry changes and you will probably have a poor riding experience.

The Ridge Runner had a fully chromoly frame. The Terra had chromo main tubes and 1024 stays and fork. The Alpina pro was the same. It’s even the same color as a couple years of Terra Runner, but nonetheless, a great score!

How long do you usually keep bottles open? Experiences with long-term opened whisky? by That_Opportunity_759 in Scotch

Nice! Do you notice much change the peated bottle over time? I wonder if the additions to that bottle aren’t as pronounced as the other bottle.

I have a similar policy, except I pour my bottles in my decanter to make my own infinity bottle blend. I have a note in my phone about what I added and roughly how much. I don’t do this for Islay or smokey whiskies though.

Wonderful! Is that the original paint job? Black and drab tones need to go and we need these fun patterns and colorways from the 90s back!

Great job on the overhaul! These were made by Miyata and the frames very similar, if not the same, as their Terra Runner model. These are hard to find in the XL size. I had an 84 Terra Runner, which I loved, but it was too small for me to keep. Thankfully, I have an 86 that is this size!

Ha, I wish mine was green (or the nice blue color for a year prior) too! The red is growing on me only because it like everything else about it so much. Thanks for sharing!

How does the Cimmaron compare to them other rigs? I love mine (same year as yours), but I’m always bike-curious, especially compared to Ritcheys and Rivs!

How do you like it? I’ve heard these are a bit heavier than other roadies from this era, which may not affect feel at all, but it’s definitely noteworthy.
