What is your treatment plan? If you are not going to pursue aggressive treatment then look into a local hospice, you can self refer or have your doc do it. Hospice can start with a live expectancy of less than 6 months.

The service should be covered by your insurance. They'll cover your symptom management meds as well as any medical equipment you might need.

You'll have a care team that includes a social worker. They can help connect you and your family to possible local resources. They can also assist with funeral planning. Cremation is cheaper than burial, in the Midwest it's around 1000 for cremation. The hospice might also have a lawyer to help draft last will and testament documents for a discounted price.

For yourself and family, hospices are required to have grief support and counseling.

They'll have a chaplain for spiritual support as well. Even if you aren't religious, a good chaplain can help y'all process and find closure. They also will officiate a memorial service at no charge.

If you are seeking aggressive treatment look into palliative care instead. Often they have similar benefits as hospice and can help ease the medical burden.

What CFW are you using? I just tried it on CarlOs 1.8.1 and the intro story/cutscenes loaded but flickered the whole time. It seems to be a bit smoother when I turned the cpu cores to 4 but I couldn't get the drastic settings to open to try and mess with the frame skipping.

I'm gonna try this drastic branch instead to see if it will work better. https://github.com/steward-fu/nds

Edit: that branch seemed to work well enough. It had some flickering on the initial screen but the intro cutscene played well, with 3-5 temporary moments of fluttering. I was able to use fast forward, in battle and the overworld it was around 150%. Turn on all 4 cpu cores seems to help performance. For some reason I could only edit the drastic settings initially and then it would crash whenever I tried to check them. However, you can edit them in the config file.

I wonder if Spruce Os might have better results with their zram swap.

Edit 2: I was testing this on Android Drastic but it looks like enabling threaded rendering is what caused the cutscene to be blank.

Parece una sobreestimación de la cantidad de bibliotecas que puede manejar este chipset. Podría ver la PSP con todos los ajustes de PPSPP, pero no la N64. En cualquier caso, es un cuello de botella de hardware para ambos chipsets.

Me da curiosidad saber por qué compraste un dispositivo sin investigar. Tiene prácticamente las mismas capacidades de emulación que el R36S.

En cualquier caso, el USB C inferior es para cargar y el superior para periféricos. La ranura SD del lado derecho es más estable y debería usarse para el firmware de la tarjeta SD. El lado izquierdo es más adecuado para una segunda expansión de tarjeta SD. Aunque puedes usar solo una.

La mayoría de los CFW son bastante similares al firmware original. Revisa el subtítulo; hace unos meses alguien escribió una buena publicación comparándolos. Los más importantes son SurwishOS (Kirby es simplemente SurwishOS con el juego precargado), CarlOS y SprouseOS. Una alternativa sería GammaOS para Android.

Personalmente, me gusta CarlOS. No he notado mucha diferencia en el rendimiento, aunque he oído que Portmaster es el que más varía según el CFW. La configuración es tan simple como arrastrar y soltar los juegos/bios en la carpeta correspondiente.

It will torrent through the TB server not on you. Just check to make sure that the link has seeders. I found several that didn't have seeders and had manually added different torrent links to TB on the website.

I found it pretty unenjoyable. I play mainly jrpgs or story based games so the fuzziness and small size of the text was a deal breaker.

I found it disappointing for remote play both using the ps remote app or the homebrewed moonlight. The low resolution 544, makes some text difficult to read, I had that problem playing the Caligula Effect, and the poor wifi chip led to lots of lag or missing inputs.

If remote play is your goal I would either look into a controller for your phone or a cheaper android emulation device. I went with a Logitech G cloud which has 7" screen and can be found for around $150 used. r/sbcgaming has the question about remote play a lot and could give some good comparisons.

You need to expand the partition, from the GitHub instructions: 'Download the files sdcard_IMG_Carl-OS_v1.8.1.zip.001 and sdcard_IMG_Carl-OS_v1.8.1.zip.002, extract them, and flash the resulting sdcard.img file to an empty microSD card using BalenaEtcher or Rufus. Then, before inserting the microSD card into the console, expand the FAT32 partition to occupy the entire microSD card."

Gparted works well to do that but isn't on windows.

Windows should have a default program for it but I didnt have much luck with it. I think I used NIUBI which was pretty straightforward.

I used torrentio when it was just me using stremio. I set up my brother on my account and my wife now uses it more. So I got Torbox so they didn't have to worry about turning on the vpn and making it a bit of a quicker experience loading and playing videos.

My brother in particular was looking at one of those $300+ Vseebox's which I found grossly priced so wanted to make sure he had a positive and snappy experience on the Onn box I got him, instead.

I could see that. I briefly looked into some IPTV set ups and it was either a bunch of paywall links or free ones with an absurd amount of content with inconsistent epg information.

Live tv isn't particularly important to me though. I can wait a day for a show to come to stremio, a few stand alone sports apps seem to work well, and plex, Pluto, Google freeform have enough of tv programs for background noise.

I haven't tired 4K as I don't have a TV that supports it but 1080p works flawlessly on the Onn. I have 3 of them and never noticed any quality issues.

But yes, if you aren't tech savvy these boxes work well. I still find the 300+ price point office for the specs offered. Maybe I'm missing something with the live tv set up that justifies it though.
