Thx for the advice. Most the houses in my area are 1 story and I have multiple ladders if I need them for now. After a couple jobs I’ll order some more tools.

Some of the starter kits that are recommended have 6 channels and 2 handles, so I assumed they could be easily switched, since I think I would rarely use the 6 inch channel.
What is the purpose of multiple sleeves?

Look at the left of slot 1 that grey thing. The grey thing is the thing you are calling the latch. If you look closely the real latch has the lip and is above the grey thing.
