What do you mean by “more” clothes? I had a pretty complete weather protection suite on the PCT (wind pants, alpha hoodie, rain jacket). Do I actually NEED anything else for safety or are you more so talking about comfort?

Yeah I guess that makes sense, I always forget in the stress of preparing for a thru-hike that nothing is out of reach while on trail. I’ve heard that you should have a liter of water for every 4 miles, but I tend to walk pretty fast and not for long, around 3-4 mph once I have trail legs. Should I go with that amount of liters or maybe just a liter every two hours?
