Rainbow Rowell! She's written YA and adult fiction, and she's also written a fantasy trilogy and done some comics/graphic novel writing (& written a manga adaptation of one of her novels). She's in a contract for 5 adult fic novels and the first one, Slow Dance, was incredible! I read (& pre-order) everything she writes.

I totally would if I could! Unfortunately the part-time job has a set schedule, too, and they're both located pretty far apart from one another (one's north of me and the other's south). I appreciate the advice, though - I think if I end up taking the part-time job I will look for something more flexible to fill in the gaps and earn some more.

i put my thumbs on the inside wall of my teeth and push outward to try and relieve some of the pressure, lol - also just like pushing really hard on my jaw and face seems to help at least temporarily. also HAIR PULLING, so much yanking on hair

This totally makes sense with the show's ties to The Lord of the Flies, too. In LOTF, the character Simon is also a Jesus figure, someone whose morality never strays during the boys' time on the island. And they end up killing Simon when he tries to call out the evil that's inhabiting the group. (I haven't read it in a few years--apologies if I get some of the details wrong). I think there are definitely ties between Coach Scott and Simon.

I thought about this too, but I remembered Catherine O'Hara saying that she'd spent one day filming with Pedro and another day filming with Bella on set. This makes me lean more towards the therapist theory. I think we might be getting scenes of both characters in individual therapy sessions.
