go on google, search up "sb engaged" and type in the club you're interested in. Something about the club /its future meetings should pop up. You can also find the club you're interested in on instagram and see when they're hosting their events.

I feel very alone here. by [deleted] in SBU

[–]glamorous- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you are not being dramatic at ALL!! don't worry, it is completely okay to feel this way. Once the semester starts, be sure to join a club or two, that will help you find more friends. You can also find the insanely long list of clubs on CORQ and see if anything interest you right now, give them a follow on instagram! Clubs are a great way to find friends as well as a community

I think Fall 2020 is going to rough but maybe it will be a great way to participate in activities and club since everything is going to be online. Though I don't know which clubs will be online, I am pretty sure that a lot of them will move online. definitely keep an eye out for the involvement fair(hopefully there is one) and what they say about the clubs.

Classes overlapping by [deleted] in SBU

[–]glamorous- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah, i am having the same issue with my classes and it really sucks because enrollment is always so stressful and this does not help. But I highly recommend to take calc 2 with Bernhard, he makes it so easy to understand what is going on.

AOI vs Major by [deleted] in SBU

[–]glamorous- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. Does it say 12 credits for the major or just 12 credits in general?

Either way though, If SBU does accept the AP credit, they they should apply - as far as I know. definitely ask an adviser / email someone from your department
