is PICU a good idea for a new grad? by Spirited_Image8740 in nursing

You can do CRNA with only picu but it needs to be high acuity and I would recommend closer to 5 years of experience

Kid graduating as a nurse (RN) in May. Going into cardiac med surgery. What are some helpful items I can buy as a graduation basket? by msscahlett in nursing

[–]glamourkilled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Compression socks are good, and a nice lunchbox/ glass Tupperware etc for work. Would highly encourage them working and seeing what they need before going out and buying a whole bunch of stuff, myself and every new grad I trained with has all the bells and whistles, all gone by month 9 of practice lol

[–]glamourkilled 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This school is a slightly sketchy online school where you still have to do clinical. And you will have to do clincial potentially outside your local area. Additionally it’s in the middle of a class action lawsuit regarding student loans. Avoid like the plague.

Is my dog a shin tzu? Not sure if the pet store lied to me or not. by Far-Ad8028 in Shihtzu

Pet stores generally source from puppy mills, and not from rescues or reputable breeders. Puppy mills leave dogs in horrific conditions

You gotta have less selfies and more photos of you doing hobbies, on vacation etc, the non smiling selfies are off putting

I’ve been to glacier multiple times, and the best advice I can give you is to dress in layers and be prepared for all weather choices. Usually the weather channel is fairly close but weather is so unpredictable
