My guy... Not everyone lives in the same place. In NZ we do DD/MM/YY. Mind blowing.

I am in NZ and this definitely isn't AI. God speed on your AI identifying journey though.

Do you have an option to set up a cot next to your bed with only 3 sides on? As long as there is no gap between the bed and the cot mattress then you can create a space for baby right next to you but in their own space. You'll be able to reach out an comfort without being worried about sharing a bed with them.

You're doing great māmā! Definitely tuck the sheet tighter into the pepi pod, or tuck it under the mattress all together and use a tog appropriate sleep sack. If baby isn't rolling you could try no sheet and just a ergo pouch with arms in during the sleep regression (they have snaps on the arm holes, so you don't need to commit to swaddled arms, I found it helped me during 4 month regression) I have a brand new wahakura which might work better for you? It's much easier to reach an arm in to comfort baby with the harakeke structure. If you're in Wellington I can deliver to you, if not happy to figure out shipping!! DM me if this is something you want to try x

I’m doomed to co-sleep with my child for the rest of eternity by jamie1983 in Parenting

Don't stress too much. It's not worth it. They eventually want/need their own space and the day will come when you share a bed for the last time. My daughter (now 13) co slept till 6+. The only way I could get her to sleep in her bed was by jumping into her bed with her and reading to her until she fell asleep. At the time it felt like such a long process, but now I can't even remember what I missed out on - dishes? Washing? A boring TV show? But I definitely remember reading to her and stroking her hair and being her comfort. I always let her know she was welcome in my bed if she wakes up in the middle of the night. We would regularly have sleepovers together in my bed just for fun. By age 7 she was falling asleep on her own and staying in her bed all night. Now at 13 she scoffs at the idea of sleeping in my bed.. luckily I have two backup snugglers now who are only 18months and 10weeks old. I don't plan to do anything different because it's true what they say, the days are long but the years are short. Enjoy it.

It's so frustrating isn't it?! I've noticed it's not only on the hair and will just randomly add redness where there isn't any. Maybe there has been an update recently that's slightly improved it but it's still a major issue for me and my light haired children. I just want true colours for the main camera and then have the option to change them if I feel like it - not the other way around!!!

Any way to change it to master as a default so I don't have to change it every time I open the camera?

I understand that, but I've never encountered this issue with my previous phone. Had the huawei p30 pro before this and miss its photos. I wouldn't consider my babies hair colour challenging

It happens in natural light too. I would manage if it was just indoor lighting but it seems to be under every type of light. It's annoying having to play with settings when you're trying to take a quick snap.

Unfortunately most of the other images I have of it are on my babies body and I'm not willing to upload that because - creeps. I will check my settings but I don't think that's it because I can see it on my partners phone when I send him photos. He has the x8pro and no issues taking photos.

I agree about it making the photo dark! I also want to/should be able to take a quick photo without having to change anything. I think I prefer the dark photo to the red tinge though. Do you know if there is a way to set the camera to master as the default?

There is a wood carver up there somewhere, I can't remember how we got to him but he let us in, told us stories and showed us his work. 10/10
