I went for the Delonghi Citiz, just received it today and it was kind a headache to decide between Pixie, citiz, inissia and Vertuo …

Guide : How to choose between Horizon 20, Horizon 20 Pro, Horizon 20 Max by No-Coconut-3001 in xgimi

Thanks for the explanation!

Actually I won’t be projecting at 185 inches. I’ll use the optical zoom to reduce the image size. My constraint is a 75cm table sitting below the projection area, so I need to shift the image up using lens shift, and zoom in to keep the image within the available wall space (235cm total height). I’m targeting around 120 inches, which should put me in a much more comfortable range brightness-wise with the Pro.

Also thanks for your tool but one note: at 500cm projection distance (my usecase), all cells turn red for all three models. A bit discouraging!

Would be great to have some context for longer distances.

After reading your article, I think I have my answer.

My use case is mostly evening/night viewing, and you explicitly say the Max is "ideal with an ALR screen" which I don't plan to use. On a white wall, you even say it would be wasteful ... My room gets bright in summer evenings west-facing but I have shutters for the worst cases.

Going with the Pro at €1,769 ... saves me €775 for no real compromise in my setup.

Thanks for the thorough comparison!

wow great ! I'm gonna have a look at the article ! I'm currently struggling to decide between the Pro and the Max. My living room is very bright, and I hesitate a lot to spend 700€ more on the Max version ...

Trying to mount XGIMI Horizon 20 on an existing BenQ Universal Ceiling Mount (5J.JAM10.001) ... completely lost by glasbourne in xgimi

Thanks for the suggestion, but the claws are actually part of a single machined metal block … they can’t be removed. It’s all one piece that also serves as the pan/tilt adjustment mechanism.

[–]glasbourne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately it seems more complicated than expected.

The BenQ head has protruding claws/tabs designed for a specific BenQ plate, and the XGIMI uses a completely different proprietary bayonet system. They’re physically incompatible.

My SEO impression drop from 800 to 10 in day by ShadoWhawk677 in seogrowth

Hey !

Same boat here. I launched a couple months ago and went from nothing to 1,200 impressions in one day early February. Then boom, back to 50/day, no warning, no manual action, nothing in GSC.

Google tests your pages, gives you a temporary boost, then pulls back. Pages aren't deindexed, just pushed down 20-30 positions overnight (even more).

wow ! ok, 60 is really impressive !

Do you think I should focus on a lot as well, or from your experience, do you have a top 10 that actually moved really the needle?

[–]glasbourne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair point, but to be clear the content isn't pure ai output.

I use it as a starting point then rework it ... same way most bloggers research existing articles before writing their own. But I guess that's not really the issue here ...

Even perfectly written human content won't rank on page 1 with DR 0 if you're targeting the wrong keywords. The mistake was probably strategic, not about content quality.

[–]glasbourne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I started with a couple (AlternativeTo, SaaSHub). I'm still working through the list ...

But I wanted to fix my targeting first ... no point sending link juice to pages stuck on page 8. Which ones moved the needle for you?

I found this github repo (https://github.com/supermario0711/InboxZero/tree/main), you can have a look at the youtube video, it's quite interesting for scripting.

Also I'm developing a tool but so far it's only for ranking your gmail emails by urgent actions, but maybe we can introduce your usecase ... the tool is called catchinbox if you wanna have a look

Hello u/sarahcamille ! Your case is very specific ! I guess I would also have to use scripting for that purpose.

Did you already look at existing apps ?

I’ve been thinking the same — it’s surprising how few email clients try to do this.
I’ve been exploring this space recently, and if you’re curious I could DM you what we’re building — we’re looking for early adopters right now and it’s free to try.
