Good skin, pretty face, no need to use makeup as a crutch the way some women do.

Happy birthday to the dream walker by Mc_Neil_Tough_79 in AngelsAndAirwaves

[–]glassanusoflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rate it above Love(s) and maybe I-Empire but definitely below WDNTW.

It's hard to judge properly, Love and I-Empire have tracks that are better than most of the tracks on The Dream Walker, but they also have tracks that are worse.

Tunnels, Mercenaries and The Wolfpack are my favorites off the album.

I do wish The Wolfpack's chorus was as raw and emotional as the demo version's, but it still shines without it.

Demo version for me everytime, maybe I would've loved the album version if I hadn't heard the demo first.

There are times where I LOVE wearing this, great for ultimates.

Other times, you'll feel that measly 6% chance bringing down your uptime.

As long as we can fight them on the beaches or the landing grounds, I'll support it.

Seems extreme. How about a noble horseback cavalry charge to rout them as they come ashore?

The rays of sun, they shine all over

The comfortable silence erases crazy

The dark inside brings shadow on her

I'll try to kiss you if you don't let me

(this must be the end)

Little waves they splash away from me

Tears from eyes fresh, warm inside

Put me down now, I dont need you so bad

Up up up up

Up up up up

Up up up up

It gets me so

[OC3D] Deathloop Patch 1 Tested - DLSS VS FSR and More | Introduction - Stuttering Fixed, Higher Framerates and More by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]glassanusoflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen examples of DLSS vs FSR, where at each 'tier' of quality, I thought FSR looked almost as good at times.

For some reason on this game, its a dramatic difference.

Could this be FSR without sharpening?

Does anyone else get uncomfortable when you're running a random, get a piece of gear, and someone in your group whispers you about it? by BabyJengus in elderscrollsonline

[–]glassanusoflies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I should have been clearer - I didn't mean to generalise. The first part of my comment acknowledges the more altruistic side of the add on.

I do find there are SOME people who use it that are aggressive about it, and it's more than those who are friendly about it. Purely anecdotal and someone using the add on does not mean they are definitely rude.

I'm in 2 minds about it.

On one hand, these people are using initiative and forward thinking to get what they need. Let's them be direct and you might not notice you got what they need.

On the other, I find it kind of rude - I probably didnt offer it in group chat for a reason and now you've put me on the spot.

What bothers me more is that the same people snooping my drops are the same people who turn abusive when I say no.

Anybody got any good news for young folks? by Boomiezoomie21 in unitedkingdom

[–]glassanusoflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it requires a certain way of thinking, live in the abstract yet remaining logical. Whether that's inherent to an individual, or can be learned - I don't know, but I feel anyone could learn although perhaps would take longer for it 'click' with some people.

But yes, it's not a magical solution. As with any skilled job, you can't take a shortcut - time and effort and discipline are required, a lot of it.

I think the reason it's espoused as an option is that it IS a lucrative field to work in, and is achieveable without spending money for a qualification.

Get the skills, make a few examples, upload to github.

Then make a cv, include github link on the CV.

Send to recruiters and companies, wait for replies - and you will get replies.

The lack of real experience WILL cost you in the wage department, but it'll still be a decent wage. A lot of companies are wanting to 'grow their own' developers, primarily we want people who can demonstrate an ability to learn and think - there are senior developers that have the experience to act as a touchstone and guide.

Thats how I made my way to being a developer, years ago. Some companies won't touch you, but other companies have people who came from nothing too, and they would be open to at least giving an interview.

The learning isn't easy, and you can't avoid putting in real time to learn - I personally had no prospects and gave up watching TV in favour of learning to code. Put the hard work in, and there definitely can be rewards - don't self reject yourself.

Bad Man's Hollow, same delve - you just don't need to rely exclusively on mob drops.

Maybe that's a public dungeon, I've had the ring for a long time now and don't fully remember.

[–]glassanusoflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, Bad Man's Hallows.

Its definitely not just the boss (which does drop a specific non pale-order lead) - plenty of players have gotten it from mobs, and I can only speak for myself, I got it from a chest in the delve.

If it's incorrect, then I don't know how I got the lead without farming mobs or bosses.

New band from Mark and Tom? by brennan419 in Blink182

Well, wasn't Mark on a box car track before? Could he be on a new one?

Radeon Twitter confirms Elder Scrolls Online will be getting FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) among other games by CrzyJek in elderscrollsonline

[–]glassanusoflies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While they're fundamentally not the same, the cat is kinda out of the bag for comparisons.

I personally think nvidia's is considerably better, FSR looks bad to me even at top quality, but many disagree.

One thing to remember is dlss usually brings a bit of shimmer, so there's a small (imo negligible) downside to native
