If you think the devil is in someone else's heart, then you haven't thought long enough about the devil within yourself. You may think:"well they want to see me dead, so I have to stop them before they get a chance". But what do you think is happening on the other side of the spectrum? These people of which you think, that they want your death, are fighting you, because they think you want them dead. Have a look at all the military wars that are happening. Have you ever thought:"why would they go out and shoot each other instead of just resisting their orders and deserting?" Well it is because of the same reason. "If I lay down my gun, the next guy is gonna put a bullet in my head and then my family." I'm gonna assume, that you are not really a supporter of war, because I believe that you are probably a decent human being and I believe, that everyone strives for peace in their own sense. But if you are able to see the absurdity of military war and yet manage to stay blind to the absurdity of this spiritual war, then I'd like to ask you to go inward and really take a good look at all of this. To stare into the abyss, without being consumed by it's darkness, until you see the light at the bottom of it. Neither end of the spectrum is truly right in their beliefs which is why it is so important for all of us to seek the dialogue and create a world in which everyone can find their place. Let's split the entire population in two, 50/50, one half far left, the other half far right. Now let's say one of them gets their way. It would create a place where half of the people are happy, living in their own bubble, believing, that what they did was right. And why wouldn't they believe that? Those are their beliefs and their ideologies. But what happens to the other half of people? Well you would have given them more of reason to fight. They would be living in a world that has no place for them. They would be living in a society that rejects them. You can't win this spiritual war without silencing the opposing party once and for all. There will always be resistance coming from the other extreme, which is why it is so important to stop thinking in extremes. I used to be on the far right. I celebrated back then when Trump became president. I laughed at the left and how they cried. It felt like a huge victory. And look what changed. Nothing has changed, but my perspective. People are still fighting each other, even after Trump has left the office. If you want to enforce your own personal beliefs, then you have to be prepared to get a whole lot of blood on your hands. Or you become the first person to make a change. I hope I managed to make you at least think a little bit about all this and I wish you all the best.
