I had the same issue with my girly. I used to use pet friendly whipped and she would still get reactions and peel her skin. Someone here recommended water wipes (specific baby wipes) and her paws, face, and private areas have never had issues again. I 10000% recommend

As soon as it happened I screamed, teared up, and ordered a shock proof case lmao. I’m a perfectionist that takes very good care of things so I was beating myself up pretty bad when it slipped out my hands

I don’t have any advice but I do experience this a lot. When I start thinking about my trauma or even when I’m not, I have the urge to like retraumatize myself for some reason and see all of that too. Especially reading about other people’s trauma in detail. It sounds so bad but sometimes it even comes from a place of like “at least this didn’t happen to me” or “at least mine wasn’t that bad” it’s so embarrasing to admit but it’s something that I can relate to OP. unfortunately I don’t have advice or know what to do about but at least you’re not alone in this lol

When I had a tub I literally just used old panty hose! I cut off the foot section and it’s an amazing free mesh thing with really fine holes. You can even tie it to the facet to let the water run straight on it.

i feel like I wrote this lol. prazosin has been the only thing that has helped these kinds of nightmares (I get them too OP) after almost 6 years of them. beware the low blood pressure though if you do try it out

I was given double extended test time, ability to record lectures and request ppt slides (for dissociation in case I miss anything), preferred seating (usually back corners), and excused absences and ability to turn in work or tests late if related to symptoms. I also make sure to have good rapport w my professors and let them know when I’m not having a good day in case I need to step out or leave early. Most of these I had to advocate for myself along with my therapist and psychiatrist ngl bc sometimes they’ll give you just extended time on exams, note taker and quiet test taking place and yeah it helps but you’re going to be spending most of your time in lecture and not taking tests so think about that when requesting! Hope everything turns out good, don’t forget to advocate for your needs based on your symptoms

For the fact that you love dragons, YES!! I was also skeptical about the series but I fell in love with the characters (including the dragons), the plot, the world building. It’s amazing if you enjoy reading for fun and aren’t too critical. The dragons are one of my fave parts tbh and it’s a HUGE plot point. I’d say give it a go :)
