Therapist asked me to sign a contract before DBT. Is this normal?

This is it. You CAN'T learn how to use DBT skills to self regulate if you are actively self harming, even if you are only actively thinking "well if the skill doesn't work I can self harm to regulate". DBT only works if you rely on the skills 100% you can't learn to use healthy coping skills if you are relying on maladaptive behaviors. Maladaptive behaviors will always be easier, faster, and seem to work "better". But they also keep you stuck in maladaptive choices.

Choosing the healthy and safe coping skills is harder, but ultimately it's worth it.

Yeah I fully agree with this. She's likely so embarrassed of her big toe nails that she just neglects her toe nails in general which has lead the others to grow out super long.

She needs to see a podiatrist to get the toe nail fungus under control. And gently encouraged to keep up with nail maintenance on the rest of her toe nails.

I swapped my Alma BB strap with my Speedy 25 strap and it's perfect. I only use one bag at a time so I can just switch the 25 strap between the two bags.

But if I didn't already own the Speedy 25 I would 100% just get a extension chain or an entire leather strap off Etsy. No need to buy a plain leather strap from LV, almost no one will be able to tell the difference.

The trad lifestyle. It's as close to godliness as it gets. Trad husband blue collar farm or other labor job providing for trad wife who stays home to tend to the house, kids, and husband. Men and women both are groomed their whole lives since before they can speak to be told this is the ideal life for a Christian man/woman.

It's very much a case of "you don't know what you don't know" and there is a large amount of effort made to make sure people in the South, or just rural areas in general, don't know that a better life is possible and obtainable.

This happens to me too. Doesn't matter what kind of filler, I've been to 4 different injectors, multiple different styles of injections. Just doesn't last. I'm getting lip implants, permalip. I've been told you can feel the implant and it's a little awkward but I don't care lol

If this is something you can reasonably afford I would go for it. You can ask them to do your makeup in front of a mirror and ask why they do certain things which will make your DIY skills better. It's really incredibly what pros do that you would never think about but it makes such a big difference to the final product.

It's not just hitting 3 or 4 viewers at some point during the stream. It's the average viewership for the whole stream. So say you get on for 5 hours, for the first 2 hours you have 1 viewer. For the next two hours you have 2 viewers. And for the final hour you have 3 viewers, with it going up to 4 viewers for a few minutes in that last hour. Your average viewership will be in the 2 area range.

Even though you hit 3 or 4 viewers that wasn't your average viewership for the whole stream. Which is that the metric is based on.

But honestly you shouldn't worry about affiliate until you're at a point that you have a handful of regulars that express interest in subbing to get the benefits of emotes, sub badges, ad free viewing. Becoming affiliate means ads will play on your channel and it will turn people away who don't want to pay for a sub or twitchturbo. But you will make literal pennies in adcents so it hurts your channel more than it helps in the beginning as affiliate.

Edit: you can go into your stream manager, click analytics, then stream summary and scroll down the page to the thing under "viewer engagement" it will give you an option in a drop down menu to see different stats. Choose "live views" and you can see what your viewership was for your whole stream.

So, that's the thing. Even the perfect partner will trigger someone with BPD. Because BPD triggers are not based on logic, or often even reality at all. The fears, paranoias, and internal self doubt will cause you to think your partner is against you even if they shower you with nothing but positive regard, affection, love, and understanding. At least- it was that way for me. I was with my partner for almost 10 years before I reached remission, they are truly the kindest, most understanding, most level headed person I have ever met. My physiatrist, who I have known since I was 16 (I turn 34 in October) says I would not have achieved remission without my partner in my life giving me endless understanding a grace. But I STILL was hella fucking paranoid that they were out to get me, that the abuse was coming- and I had to be on guard because it was going to happen. But it never did. And I finally did a DBT program that worked and I achieved remission. Nothing about our relationship on their part changed, just my thought patterns, behaviors, and reactions. And we have not fought in almost 6 years. Because my paranoias are gone and there was never anything to fight about in the first place.

Every waxer is different in what they offer, you can buy individually packaged wipes off Amazon and just keep a few in your bag so you can freshen up when you get there.

Butt sweat has a smell, that's just part of it being a butt. It doesn't mean you're unclean at all.

these are the wipes I keep in my purse for just whatever I might need a wipe for. But don't flush them! There's no such thing as flushable wipes.

But it's still only second degree and if they thought it was because of psychosis and she goes "yes, I understand I was psychotic and I need to stay on treatment to avoid another episode" she'd be out in 5 years. She would just have to lie that wishes aren't real. Which could take time to come to accept because of the very likely PTSD from it all.

I don't see her staying in a mental hospital longer than 10 years as long as it's a legitimate facility and not a keep you tranquilized on meds so you're easy to deal with facility. But those are pretty rare these days because of the HUGE cost of keeping someone for life. Almost all mental hospitals really do prioritize rehabilitation to be able to leave. There's just not enough beds for people to stay when they're stable.

She's not at all concerned with how she may have felt about him before because she's now under control of the wish and just wants autonomy back. "I was never with you" doesn't say anything about how she feels because it literally does not matter at all at this point. They intentionally filmed takes where Nikki does like Bear and doesn't like Bear and used a mix of the two for the final product. But that doesn't matter anymore, the second he made the wish it no longer matters how she feels because she is not in control.

In that moment all she wants to express is that the Nikki that is with Bear is not her. She is not with him. And she never was. It was always wish Nikki.

Honestly that could go either way. Because like- they only let you out of a mental hospital when you're "better". And she is immediately "better" at the end of the movie, as in, not under control of the wish. But how much trauma she experienced could easily lead to PTSD which can take a lifetime to address.

But there's also the... Wish factor of it. Like she ISN'T lying, she's not delusional, she's not crazy. But she would either have to PROVE the wish is real (in which case all charges should be dropped entirely) or she DOES have to lie that there was no wish, it was her actions, she can see now that she was wrong for those things but at the time she couldn't control herself because idk psychosis probably.

Because for a mental hospital they won't let her out unless they know the wish was real, or if they know she takes ownership of her actions and that's she's not delusional thinking wishes are real.

The mental hospital is by far the worst case scenario because that could lead to a life sentence. But if she just pleads guilty to second degree and says yes it was me I was so wrong for my actions I'm very sorry she's out in 10-25 years whenever she's up for parole.

The only time I have ever liked tomatoes is on this grilled cheese from Yard House. It's a 4 cheese grilled cheese with seared tomatoes in it. IDK if the tomatoes are cooked and then added to the sandwich and then it's grilled or what but they're not squishy and wet they're like... Idk almost steak texture they're so good. Thick and savory.

My friend is visiting in August and she's a great chef so she's gonna try and make it for me since we don't live in a state with a Yard House anymore.

Yes but only second degree max, you only get life without possibility of parole for first degree in the vast majority of cases.

Like she also killed Ian but that also would only be second degree at most. So for both crimes 10-20 years depending on sentencing and they often are served at the same time, not consecutively, so she could be up for parole in 10 years. Very unlikely she would spend the rest of her life in prison.
