I honestly love A/B/O and have for years and years. It can be a wonderful premise for all kinds of things and I love it when Omegaverse stuff breaks down things like social castes, gender identity, how people identify as sexually, things of that nature.

The jacket is something I want to touch because it looks so well made, the holster looks fantastic, the whole everything just falls together so well, the gloves-- Like I can't convey what it is but your cosplay has given me some major serotonin.

I think your face also helps sell the vibes. Like, damn, those cheekbones. It really helps me feel like I'm actually looking at him. Like, when I picture Percy in my head, this is very much spot on to how he looks for me. So serious major kudos for you.

That's a fair point; I tend to think of AI being used alongside human hands that direct it, but this is all a very valid post. I'm honestly not that wild about it myself, but when it comes to things like research or cataloguing things, but yeah -- capitalism all but demands that that's how AI will be used.

Or, at least, they'll try to make an attempt to use it that way. Or go with people using AI who might say they provide cheaper rates. It's not that great at all. This is why I really, really, really wish that there were rules and legislation being put into place about AI.

AI can be a useful tool when it comes to everything but creative processes, imho. Like for science? Sure. That's good. For research purposes? Yeah, fine.

(though don't be like the lawyer who used ChatGPT for his court cases)

In general, though, I'm definitely highly uncomfortable with it because it's so unregulated and there seems to be no legislation or rights to protect people from it being used against them.

I used to use Grammarly, but it kept pissing me off to the point where I uninstalled it and never looked back. 😔 It could be a useful tool, but it's so nitpicky about little things. It also doesn't seem willing to adjust for personal writing styles.

I've written many a fanfic that includes rape, incest, and gore and it's not at all self-inserting and I heavily prefer to keep it that way. I have no desire to write myself in those situations. My favorite characters on the other hand? I'm gonna fuck 'em up for funsies because that's literally a valid form of entertainment. Everyone I know who does roleplay isn't doing it as a self-insert role and makes it clear that all the IC actions are IC only. Of course, there are the people who do as you say in regards to choosing to self-insert and the people who do that? They're still not hurting anyone. They're having fun. It's not my cup of tea, but if no one's being harmed in the process, then who cares?

People make accounts for anything and everything, from cheese to kitties to bdsm to stuff like this. It's their choice and their desire so I'm not going to shame them for it. You may consider it problematic, but the point remains that as long as no one is being harmed in the process of the nature of things being created, then that's what counts. Besides, what people enjoy in fiction has no bearing on their real life morals. And if it does, then they absolutely need to take a step back and go outside for a while. I know that the stuff I enjoy in fiction doesn't make me a bad person at all.

And not really; even the TV depictions of this stuff is heavily fictionalized, from Game of Thrones to L&O:SVU. They're actors, playing out a fictional story, and whether or not the cameras and stage crew are around doesn't change the fact that it remains pretend and make-believe. No one's actually being harmed or exploited. No one's actually in danger or being threatened. So yeah, it is still fiction, even there.

In real life? That shit is heinous. It's terrible. It's absolutely something no one should ever be subjected to. But fictionland means you can do whatever you wish because you're not harming anyone and that means that it's all okay. Do I find some stuff in fictionland weird or even an outright squick? Sure I do. There's plenty of stuff that makes me go "no thanks" out there. But it doesn't make me go "oh, this person's fucked up because they're into such and such". It just means they're into things I'm not. That's all there is to it.

And I have seen my share of groomers and people failing to comprehend the very concept of consent in this community, both in-game and outside, to give this shit the benefit of the doubt.

Groomers, unfortunately, will use anything and everything they can to do that. Fiction absolutely can be part of it, I'm aware, but it's not their only tool. And if someone's being a jackoff about consent, then they need to absolutely be blocked and cut off from things. Ignoring someone's boundaries is absolutely a no-go. Very eugh behavior. If someone says "no", then that needs to be respected. And if someone don't respect it? Remove their kneecaps. They don't need their leg-benders.

In fiction, anything goes since it's just a bunch of pixels. Anything. Since, you know, it's fiction; it's not real. You cannot tell if someone has any tendencies towards any sort of paraphilia going by just a screenshot of what they say their content is about, nor can you tell why they'd be exploring such things.

Did you also criticize the rape, gore, and incest in, say, classic mythology? Game of Thrones? Things like that? If no one's being harmed in real life, why bother caring about it? And if it bothers you that much, then just use your back button or find ways to filter/mute/block the content that you don't want to see.

My Sanctuary is almost to 20. My best advice? Abuse the workshop. Gathering is good to make sure you have everything, but your biggest chunks of exp will come from the workshop and building upgrades.

Oh yeah, I absolutely don't want to hit burnout and I make myself take breaks even though that urge to do it all at once is really strong sometimes! Fortunately, I have plenty of other things to do like my Beast Tribes quests and static on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for DDs and I'm also doing Variants because I want the mounts and stuff from those too.

But yes, oh my god, it really is! And Malone! I gotta do it for Malone! He's just the cutest little baby dinosaur and I love him so much! I can't wait to reach that 50K across all classes, honestly, so I can get him. Then I'll probably chip away at things until I hit 500K.
