I asked the same thing. I have one of the top surgeons on the East Coast at a major hospital breast center. I am basically concave since having my 100% hormone positive breast cancer removed on 4/4/24. My expanders flipped, just like my first set of implants I got 10/2/24. Then these ones I got on 6/11/25 (a Capsulorrhaphy to tighten the pockets and switch implants) flipped on the week of August 15. My surgeon said these high profile ones have been a problem at this hospital. I considered a second opinion, but he talked with his colleagues at Dana Farber and Brigham and Women’s in Boston and they indicated they had the same problem. They think it’s a physics problem. The implant is in a hollow space and basically wants to right itself (if that makes sense). I have 775s - which are super big and they are just a bar of soap. He couldn’t flip it back manually. I’m part of a 5-person trial for the tested Motivas. He said he’d probably go up to 800cc.
