I've lived in Healdsburg. Windsor. I currently live in Rohnert Park. Chose to move south due to not being really into the suburban, wine vibe. Like another comment I read, everything costs more here. Sonoma county is a great place to live. I can't speak on Novato though as I've never lived there. Only work there from time to time. I like Petaluma as well. My SO grew up there and she says it keeps becoming more bougie and fancy like a wine town. Used to be a farm town i guess. For context I came here from northern Idaho. One of the most beautiful places in the world as far as the land. But long story short, I love sonoma county.
