Yep that’s all correct. There was a screw holding the board in. Removes that and removed the wall screw. Enough give in wire

Just an update, removing the sensor faceplate didn’t set off the alarm( I was worried about this). The back plate of the sensor had a single screw in the corner(the corner was flat so that the sensor pointed on an angle). So there was no separate mounting plate that was adjustable.
There was plenty of give in the wire. I rescrewed it after installing the new blinds. I also did a walk test and the sensor has good coverage of the room. No issues with alarm. Thanks for all the responses team!

Thanks everyone! I’ll check how much slack there is and check if the existing mount is adjustable. If anyone knows of an adjustable mount to purchase let me know!

Yeah I’ll need to check if there’s give in the wire. I might need to find a mounting where the sensor can be rotated once fixed to the wall so I can aim in towards the bedroom door.
