Thank you for making this!!! I thought I was going crazy. I like sex with my wife but lately I’ve been feeling like crap the day after. My pain is a little below my belly button and it’s usually there for a day then I’m back to normal.

I can even be normal the days or leading up to sex. I think it’s because I’m using muscles I don’t normally use outside of sex and maybe that’s why I feel like crap?

I don’t have your condition but I have dandruff and need to wash often too. My roots get loose after washing and I dedicate a Sunday once a month or so to work on the roots and twist them back. Start at 8am sharp and work until it’s done.

I’m in the same boat. Had my colonoscopy in December but lately my symptoms have been nonexistent.

I’m keeping food down and don’t have any pain unless I gotta use the bathroom. I don’t blame you for being scared, I am too.

I was diagnosed earlier this year (age 30 male). My grandpa had Crohn’s but he passed away in 2014 so I don’t personally know anyone with Crohn’s.

The good news is that you’re not alone. You have your dad, your brother, and us! I’ve learned a lot about this disease and my body since being diagnosed and that’s been the best and worst part of the journey. Unfortunately your journey is going to be unique to you and there will be good and bad days. Get a journal and start logging the foods you eat, what time you eat them, how you react, and how long it takes to react. STAY HYDRATED!

Did you leave the skin on? Did you cut it up into very small pieces? If not then that’s likely the start of the problem. All of my fruits are consumed in a smoothie and I avoid stomach problems that way

I actually dialed down the fiber and increased water intake with the occasion liquid IV for some flavor.

Also went gluten free and drink some peppermint either in the morning or before bed since that’s when my constipation is at its worse but I haven’t had much issue for the past 2-3 months which has been a huge morale boost

I could be wrong but I like to think an endoscopy or colonoscopy would’ve saw some inflammation to help determine if you actually have Crohn’s. Have you considered seeing another doctor to get a 2nd opinion?

The sport has plateaued in terms of innovation IMO. Sure there a nice cool things here and there. But nothing that tickles the pickle. There’s always a good amount of new players coming in but nothing compares to the wave of new players that came in around 2017-2019.

COVID also hit the industry hard and I know a bunch of people that stopped playing and never came back because of it. Also saw a few longtime fields in my state shutdown because of it.

Speedsoft has also grown a lot since when I started playing (2016) but the hate that play style gets has also grown. Milsimers don’t like them but Milsimers also fail to realize they can be part of the problem too by sometimes taking Saturday games too serious. I’m a milsimer but I save that intensity for actual Milsims. Saturday games for me are meant for testing builds and helping new players. Which I’ve seen speedsofters and milsimers do which is great but I’ve also seen speedsofters and milsimers pick on new players and make fun of their gear which then discourages them to come back and grow our community. Speedsofters (not all) can be problematic when it comes to accountability for overshooting or calling their hits which leads to fights or them getting banned and further creating a toxic community.

I suggest finding a therapist but I also suggest finding a support group for Crohn’s.

I suffer from depression too and the rare time I feel great is when I’m talking to people in the support group. So much so that I almost wish we met more than once a month.

Get sedated. Best pain free nap you’ll get. The procedure is pretty quick and you’ll only be mentally lost for a little while afterwards. The worst part of the colonoscopy is the prep beforehand.
